    Bogied 2 par 5s

Griffin and Morikawa both bogeyed a par 5. Griffin, Homa and Shane had two bogeys each. That's your top four as it stands late in the day.

He played very well and his position on the leaderboard shows that.

great start and bounced back well from bogeys and finished well.

Looks like it's going to be a very nice day there with very little wind. A day where somebody could go really low and hopefully that's Shane.

Birdies first from 20 feet and then misses par on next from 5 feet, double follows on next hole and tough day ahead to avoid bad score today.

Terrible bad mistake for the double bogey. Should have been going for the centre of the green.

    Vintage Shane so far.

    Triple bogey on 9 now.

Standard final day stuff from Shane again. He’s a three day golfer. Can’t see him ever pushing on like the greats at this stage of his career. He really struggles at the weekend when he’s normally in a great position. So frustrating.

decent effort to par the second 9 after that front 9, turned a disaster into a bad day at office

Playing in Canada this week. With us open next week and signature event the weeke after. It’ll be 4 weeks in a row. I assume he’ll rest up then for Scottish open then. Surprised he didn’t take this week off as a result

Tied for lead after 9 on -5

Getting ready to disappoint us all again.

Maybe this could be his week as drinking Canadian water this week

Looks to be a bit fitter in recent events. Hopefully he can have the flat stick motoring come Sunday evening.

His approach play has to be the envy of many peers atm.

watched him today, played well and seemed in control.Maybe…

Most frustrating golfer to watch in the game bar none. What are we going to do with him?

Little to no round 3 coverage of Shane. Must be particularly expressive today.

Misses short birdie put on 18 to finish on -2 for the round. T15. A lot of players between him and the lead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,558 ✭✭✭dublin49

was following his round on shot tracker, seemed to miss some makeable putts, seemed to play solid but imagine a good putter would be 1 or 2 shots better off.

Fantastic eagle from inside 4 feet to start. That'll help any chance of a charge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,518 ✭✭✭Trampas

    bird next looks a cert

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 401 ✭✭Scrabbel
