Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My woman makes me wear a jingle bell in my pants all year round.

    But.

Yes, I think she shall be sent to procure me a suitable jumper tomorrow.

Is the non-boardsie rule the same as the First-timer rule? Carnations and buying drinks for everyone?

I'll only be around for a short while due to having somewhere better to go
See anyone who is there bright & early.

Bring back some Toblerones. Or giant bars of Fruit & Nut. And one of those accessory packs for yore iPhone, that let you charge it from any USB device, with one of those funky cables that have two heads; maybe even a batter extender, you know the stuff. A box of those fancy mints would be nice too ... none of yore Fisherman's Friends, I'm thinking something more gourmet-y.

They have this solar-powered USB thingy that charges your iPhone.

You know, for when you are in the desert and stuff.

    How about a stuffed camel?

I've never eaten a camel ... I'd say there's good eating on them, especially if they taste of sausage and gravy.

I can confirm that camel tastes like a Bridgestone tyre that has done about 50 laps of Mondello.

Wasn't impressed with it at all.

hmmm, due to prior commitments I'm not sure if I will be able to make it in tomorrow night, it depends on how lazy I am and if I am willing to walk from karma to market bar and what time I leave Bellamys at . However as my representative will be going I will get her to wish you all a happy christmas if I can't make it

If I can arrange for my bout in the drunken armwrestling competation to be held at 3 minutes past 10 then the flower (Daisy, Pansy or Petunia - I haven't decided yet) will have already left the bar and so I'll win by default.

Meh, a hollow victory IF any victory at all. While you stride you'll be accompanied by howls of derision from the wimmins for yore nambypamby early leaving.
Meanwhile I shall be quaffing the Beer of goodness into the early hours of sometime next week and adding inches to my girth.

Well then, maybe I'll just stay into the wee small hours, beating all & sundry at the drunken armwrestling game, while quaffing Beer of good-enough-ness, and the occasional spiced rum.

I'd best not add too many inches though ... it will be tricky getting in & out of the car.

I know it was cold out, but they could have serriously turned the heat up.

Also, bad form with the crap booking of the place.

I'd say we'd have been hard pressed to get a booking in the Bull and Castle tbh. But no more Karma for me. Any place that has be wearing two coats is not good.

    Great to see everyone. :)

A very pleasant evening indeed ... the only minor quibble would be how fuppin' cold it was.

I think there is a general consensus formed that we need a new venue, preferably warmer, and more conducive to mingling.
