I seen this clip when I was just a nipper & it gave me nightmares for a long long time. Wish I had never seen it.

Looks kind of dumb now but as a kid i thought it was horrific!

Oh god I'm going to have to weld my wardrobe shut tonight... :(

Her first mistake was getting out of bed. I find in situations like that the best solution is to cower under the covers and pretend it's not happening.

OMG!!! It's the evil monkey from family guy...

Yeah but seriously, that would mess you up as a kid.

I remember seeing this on TV when I was a kid, and it gave me nightmares for days. Must of been around 6 when I seen it. Looks rubbish now.

I would LOVE to know what film this is from! I saw it at my childminders house, somewhere between the age of 5-7 maybe? And it traumatised me for literally years!

I just remember seeing this guy lying down on his bed. And next thing this vortex/whirlpool thing opened on his bed, and sucked everything in his room into it, and then sucked him in too. He was clinging onto the edge of the bed trying not to be sucked in.

And then my childminder's daughter turned to me, all blonde and blue-eyed and two-years-older and therefore ever so much more mature, and said, "You're not scared or anything, are you?! :D"

I was fricking terrified. Had nightmares for years!

If anyone could enlighten me as to what the title of that film might have been ...?! :o

It had the same effect on me.
How do you get youtube clips onto your posts?

When you're posting, go to the advanced options (the one where it has all the icons above the text box, not the "quick quote" that appears at the bottom of this page. The second last icon above the text box is the Youtube button. Click that and it'll automatically add Youtube tags to your post. Then go to the youtube video you want and copy the end of the address from the address bar (the bit after the equals sign) and put that between the Youtube tags.

I'm sure I've made that overly complicated, so sorry.

Find the clip on youtube. Eg - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5P6UU6m3cqk

On the header bar select and copy all info after the = mark like so 5P6UU6m3cqk .

Go back to boards and reply to thread. In the menu select the youtube key (beside the spoiler one). You should get this:

Forum Charter - Useful Information - Photo thread: Hardware - Ranges by County - Hunting Laws/Important threads - Upcoming Events - RFDs by County

If you see a problem post use the report post function. Click on the three dots on the post, select "FLAG" & let a Moderator deal with it.

Lulz at the opening clip. It was tense for the first while (although the naff music made it hard to take seriously!) but the reveal was gold :D

Very few scenes from films freak me out, but if I saw the following clip as a child, I would likely have spent the last two decades in an advanced state of hyper insomnia:

Always had to look down the toilet when pooping to make sure nothing was trying to bite me ass.

Films/TV Shows that freaked the living sh*t outta me as a kid:

-An episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark? where there is a haunted closet or some stupid thing, and a big, evil pair of red eyes stare out of it at the protagonist at one point. I screamed the house down and was never able to look at a semi-dark space for years for fear of the red eyes looking out at me!!!:o

-It scared the absolute bejesus out of me at like 5. Never liked clowns much since...

-Arachnophobia (seeing as I suffer from the aforementioned phobia anyway) succeeded in giving me many a night of waking up bathed in cold sweat, followed by a frantic search of my room, making sure no dog-sized spider queens were going to come and eat me...

But... since the age of 10, no film has succeeded in scaring/creeping me out. Well, except anything to do with spiders. Apart from those, I'm pretty hard to scare with a movie! :D

    As a kid, I was a proper little pussy!!!:o

Nah, it's not that, it was defo an episode of AYAOTD. This kid was being imprisoned by this guy in a basement or something and there was that cupboard/closet thing down there and this big pair of evil, glowing, red eyes... Haunted many a dream/nightmare of mine for many a year!!!

Company of Wolves terrified me when I was about 5 years old, especially the very end:
