I'd say it's because he doesn't have a website. Looks like he may own the domain but hasn't uploaded any pages yet.

Ring him tell him what you want. He'll have loads of it/them in stock. You travel there from wherever. When you get there it/they will all just have been sold :mad:

Id say its probably due to security issues. He's probably been asked by the congress of civilian snipers and the Afghan national security, to take it down. His emails could be easily hacked and huge security data could be leaked if he didnt take it down. Thats my take on it anyway, I could be wrong.

Cant understand why anyone would want to buy anything from that man! He`s full of u know what! and he`s mad expensive as well!!!

It used to work about 5 years back but there were always glitches with it and it was never updated.

My 2 cent, tip out the road to Mc bride, he'll sort ya out with what YOU want and not what HE wants to sell you.

my 2 cents worth would be if its a gun you are after shop around, the nice guy doesnt always offer the best deal!!
good friend of mine didnt shop around and ended paying 300 euro more for his gun than he would ve had he shopped around.......

ie; call to both and then some more:D....

Mcbride's a much better man to deal with, no s**te, watch him on the pricing though, he's famous for it, especially if he thinks your any way harmless. Do your homework.

Id second what thedragon says about shopping around, im using Norma 120 btps and have been quoted 55-60 euro a box, the best price i got was 40 euro a box. I rang about 12 shops to get prices for the 6.5 and .308 and i found that there is quite a difference in the price of ammunition across the country.

Where did you buy for that price. Was quoted the same price (55 - 60) so would like to save a few quid. Using a 6.5 and .308. PM if you like.

he is fine nothing he doesnt know about guns,
his hunting and fishing stories may need a little extra effort to believe :D:D........i am 16 yrs shooting and have been dealng with gerry since then, and james since he began, and david in longford too,kirwins in mullingar also for the glasses and the RC shells, all are decent people....... dont worry too much about different people's opinions...as i said earlier if in doubt shop around

Just home from McBrides, James is good craic, find him very easy to deal with, not pushy or sarky (beyond the call of duty ). Three bloody years going there and only tonight did I get my first look inside the gun room

Yeah his rifles can be pricey alright. Though I used to deal with a cheaper dealer until something went wrong and found out about customer service the hard way.

As for Scully. Only been in there two or three times. First sentence I ever heard the man utter contained CIA, Israel and JFK He was also shooting 4 inch groups at 1,000 yards, don't ask me I don't look that far never mind shoot.

Found him helpful to deal with, didn't know me from Adam and I was allowed look in the gun room, very helpful on the ammo front but as said on the phone will tell you he has grenade launching unicorns to get you there.

Here here. I was in the shop a couple of weeks ago and he made a skit out of a fella. The lad had missed a couple of deer that morning and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. What a sneer!!. I walked out and will not be going near that gunshop again.
Went on over to Mcbride..he's a sound lad and no bull....
