With blinds at 30k - 60k a10k, Jane open shoves from the SB with 95d, JP snap calls in the BB with A6o.

A 9 on the flop gives Jane the lead and she holds to win a 2m pot.

Finished 11th in the the Side event. Made a silly bluff that cost me half my stack then pushed 160k with the blinds 6k-12k and was called by AJ.....an Ace on the flop and my 10,10 did not impove... Great weekend though really enjoyed it.

JP shoved on the button for ~900k with JTh. Marc called with A4s. The flop was J45, a 4 on the turn sent the spectators on the rail wild.

JP is eliminated in 4th place and Marc now has over 2m

After Matthias raised OTB, Jane moved in from the BB for 1.6m. Matthias called and showed ATc, Jane had AKo.

The board ran out J9252 and Jane doubles up to 3.3m

Matthias raises OTB and both blinds call. Marc checks the QQ9 flop, Jane bets 250k, Matthias calls. Jane then leads the 5 turn for 650k. Matthias folds and Jane shows 22 to cheers from the rail! "Bring on more belgians" shouts Tom Kitt!

Not much action in this heads-up battle.

Most pots are raise, fold. Or raise, re-raise, fold.

Jane took control early, 3betting Matthias' opens frequently, but Matthias has had the best of the big pots, calling 3 bets and taking it away postflop etc.

Stacks are roughly even at the moment.

Just back after the long spin home , just like to say thanks to jp and staff for a great weekend of poker even tho i was out of the main event in the 3rd level with my kk no good vs 88 for 75k pot and just to top it off 2 hands later i get kk again utg+1 , utg limps i shuv my last 1400 and get 3 callers only to be done in by 77:rolleyes:

shipping 2nd in the 250 side event made it worth while tho:D

Well played Marc, congrats. Had a feeling you would be a contender the way you were playing on the Friday.

It was an excellent event, although I never really got going at all. Tiredness was a killer. The insomniac in me came out in style and a complete lack of sleep meant an uneventful tournament. Must remember to bring valium with me if playing one of these things again.



Oh, and Well done to Jane as well on the 2nd place.
