What are people using for shorthaul Europe flights?

    I've got 50 x MD81 and find they're are fairly reliable.

Just started Oh!Fu*k Airlines! Whats the best way of getting going? Sell the 737 in favour of 3/4 Atr's or keep it?

That's what I did to start off, but the problem with the ATR aircraft is low pax numbers, therefore low return per flight.
If I were doing it all again from scratch, I'd spend a lot more time researching the higher passenger load alternatives to the ATR aircraft. Maybe the Russians have something with a bit more bang for your buck.

It would be handy if there was a way to bulk buy aircraft instead of having to go into it every time and search for the aircraft. It takes along time.

Any advice really would be nice!

the advice I would give is the same as I posted a few days ago Starting guide
the main bit is sell the 737 and buy 25+ ATR 42-500 they are great planes cost very little but make great returns on your investment, buy fuel when it is cheep make sure you have enugh to last you till the next time fuel is cheep, and billboards when cheep. every time you fly them about every 3 hours use the cash to buy more ATR 42-500 till you have about 150 then move to larger planes.

    Fuel Low High
    Monday......€ 600........ € 800
    Tuesday.....€ 1,300......€ 2,100
    Wednesday.€ 400........€ 1,600
    Thursday....€ 600 ........€ 800
    Friday........€ 1,300......€ 2,100
    Saturday....€ 400.........€ 1,600
    Sunday......€ 800.........€ 1,000

    Billboard Ads Low High
    Monday......€ 5,000......€ 10,000
    Tuesday.....€ 15,000.....€ 17,500
    Wednesday.€ 35,000.....€ 40,000
    Thursday....€ 5,000.......€ 10,000
    Friday........€ 15,000.....€ 17,500
    Saturday....€ 35,000.....€ 40,000
    Sunday......€ 35,000.....€ 40,000

Leinster Airlines just bought first A380. Took me 2 days to save for it! Think that will be my tactic from now on...Just wait until I can buy an A380 and get them.

    Share price now €22.52...

    Kippy airlines here.
Currenly there about 40k shares in my airline available at stock price of 122.05
    Currently have over 500 million lbs in fuel, 140 * A340-200, 20*A340-600 and 19*A380-800.
All routes(179) averaging close to full capacity.

I've just started buying 3*A380-800 per 36 hours or so, after deciding to completely concentrate on these plane type at this stage of the game.
Route and plane numbers growth will probably slow to some extent, however, revenue will increase as will share price as I buy the behemoths!

Will also be in the market for buying 200K shares tomorrow so if anyone has any decent tips let me know!

Yep sell it. Get a couple of ATRs then slowly build up these (think 50 is a good number) until you can afford to invest in MDs, then build up lots of these. When you have 100 aircraft look at widebodies/longhaul, A340-200 or B787-800 are the best options.

Check out El Coyote's guide, linked about 2-3 pages back,

Can you lose this game? I know your rate of expansion can vary depending on the choices you make but can you go bust?

It seems to me like you can't...

my rep just dropped to 98.9%.
All the staff are happy, no one unhappy or striking.

Any ideas on what might have caused the drop?

If you had an incident on one of your flights, usually causes it to drop. A couple of flights later, it will be back at 100%. Don't worry! ;)

Hmmm...I have 5 planes due a c-check for last week. Kept them flying though as I intend selling them soon. No drop in rep caused by it though.
