Final update on those games I picked up yesterday. All the disc's with review version on them seem to be the finished retail game, all load ok and play and sound fine. The speed freaks Intro News Version seems to be the intro of the game as a work in progress.Driver Psx pal v4.11 is a work in progress of the game driver.A disc with the hand written word "programs" contained the folders - Marcromedia Director MX, Marcromedia Dreamweaver MX, Marcromedia Extension Manager, Marcromedia Flash MX, whatever those are.The disc "Toast 5.2" is indeed Mac cd burning software (;) polyfusion) and another couple of disc's were Freehand 10 and photoshop 7.Fingers crossed I get lucky again next weekend,I'm off to Kilkenny car boot, seemingly the biggest in the country.

    IMGP0876.jpg

Just bought this for 30 off a chap on Adverts. The console is mint, box is in good condition apart from somebody writing their name on the top of the box, but it came off easily enough. It came with a PSone pad, adapter and AV cable. Didn't come with the cardboard inserts though, so the box is just a shell, but it's still great to have.

Was half thinking of going for that myself earlier but i just dont have the money anymore to be adding to my stuff not to mention the space to store it:(

It's a great find though, pretty mint & are'nt too common to come across. Congrads man.

I know what you mean. There was a Namco Arcade controller on Adverts a few days back and I really wanted to go for it, but running out of space myself.

I've never heard of that Namco controller before. It seems to be the business though, quite sought after. 20 euro was a bargain.

Speaking of the playstation, just picked up a ps1 Mouse from an Irish seller on ebay. Why? It was cheap! And I'm sure there's some obscure game out there that needs it.. :pac:

Ah yeah, probably works with the Broken Sword games.

    /Edit - SYNDICATE WARS!!! brilliant..I knew there'd be something!!

Done a trade with Luas Dublin and got a boxed PS1. Really just wanted the box as that's PS1 number 5 now :P

If there's an apocalypse and most PS1's are wiped out, me and o1s1n will be there to hand out emergency PS1 packs :pac:

Tried to find Silent Hill 2 out in the parents yesterday. Was nowhere to be found. :( So in my dismay I started looking for other things I could bring out instead. Found another Snes, Gamecube and n64. Thought they were all a bit run of the mill though, so brought this with me instead. Okay in actual fact it's because it was the smallest one of the lot and I want to try and get rid of it :pac:

It's a Sega Genesis 3 that I imported from American about 5 years ago. This was back in the days when I only have my PAL Megadrive, so it was great to finally see 60hz running on a television -

    hockeypuck.jpg

Also managed to find four 'Batman' Megadrive pads. The one in the top right corner is the first control pad I ever owned. I'm fairly sure I swapped around the button rubbers under some of these to get it working perfect again.

    controllers.jpg

    Road Rash 3 also arrived.

I opened it up, for a moment it looked mint -

    rr3.jpg

The booklet land cart looked like they've never been touched (I've never seen such a good condition fat EA manual) -

But then I noticed the horror -

    Why?!!?!?!?

Resident Evil the remake is a must Sugarman. Also Metroid Prime and Bomberman Generation. Where did you get the GC, in the shopping centre?
