Then sir you have struck gold. it's not as valuable as the PC Engine version, but still worth a good bit, especially as yours is complete. Well done! :)

haha delighted! I'm going to splurdge sometime next month and get a Skeleton Saturn, feel like treating myself.

I paid 80 for all the games so looks like it was worth it haha

any other ones in there I should take extra care of? The one that caught my eye was the one with an 18's cert on it and a load of anime girls on the cover. Cant wait to play that one!

I've heard nothing but good things about linda3. It's one of the Saturns legendary games. Wish it was in english.

What's the game next to Virtua Fighter on the right but above Panzer Dragoon? If that's Tokemiki Memorial Puzzle I want to buy that from you (if you'll sell it!).

Nothing else stands out from your photo but I did spot Linda 3 (aka Linda Cubed) straight away and knew you'd a good deal there. If you paid €80, that's your money back on that one game alone. Keep it safe and put it in a cello bag.

    Well done again. :)

Found a sealed copy of Hogs of War for Ps1 in a Charity shop at lunchtime for a Euro. Had a quick look on the bay there and this is the copy I got:

    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/HOGS-WAR-PS1-PAL-BRAND-NEW-FACTORY-SEALED-SONY-PLAYSTATION-1-PSX-/230688509216?pt=AU_PC_Video_Games_Games&hash=item35b61b4d20

That can't be right, can it?

It's a €15 game unsealed so is worth a bit more sealed!

    Whats in it???
I see the Cave logo but whats in the box??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,328 ✭✭✭Pyongyang

If that's Akai Katana or Ketsui or, well, just any Cave full kit in general, I'm getting a temp job at the customs house, waiting for your flight to land, then Im seizing all your cool stuff!

Wowzers! Didn't think I'd see a full kit on this here forums. Super congratulations mate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,798 ✭✭✭Jack burton

is that one of those kits that do be costing around 500 to get over here?

If its Akai Katana, it's €2000+ from the Cave shop. Even just the cardboard box goes for €50-€100+ depending on what game it is.

I've a feeling that it's DoDonpachi or Ketsui. The Mushihimesama and Espgaluda boxes are smaller and a different colour, unless these are different editions?

Its Ketsui alright ! but whats the other one :pac:

Beginning to think will never get my hands on mario party 3.
Bought the NTSC version after accidentally winning an auction on it twi e from same seller. Got the first one cancelled but felt I had to pay for it the second time. Was okay as sold it on and cover my costs.
Bought it recently from UK. Arrived week later. Took me a while to cope it was only Mario Party 1. Got full refund.
Bought it from Germany soon after. The game never even made it to Ireland. Got as far as UK and because of wrong address stayed at their depot, Hermes international. Now being sent back to seller and he is looking for me to pay another 9 euro for post and refuses to give a full refund.
Should he give a full refund? Would he have to if I opened a case?
I want that game even more now.

    Here's a hint: It's not very good.

Should have kept the US version, not like it's hard to play US GC games on a Gamecube or Wii.

Ah very hard to play an US n64 game on a European GC or Wii.

Also the want has nothing to do with the qualifty of gameplay. The want is an irrational need of having all Mario titles. It's my only retro gaming obsession thank f#ck!

Also the black pal box is way nicer than NTSC box

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 53,477 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

    Oops thought it was GC.

Geez how bloody sad am I that I can more or less tell what a game is from a cardboard box. :(

There's two PCB's in the one box or two boxes of full kits?

Hmm, I really don't think it's Espgaluda as I'm almost certain it was produced in a different size/colour box. I'd hazard a guess it's Ibara, though that's clutching at straws a bit.

I'll guess Espgaluda II although I have no clue what colour the boxes should be. :)

Yeah, Espgaluda II comes in a box the same type and colour as that first pic he posted.
