    Flat design - check
    Parallax scrolling - check
Tag line along the lines of "We create ____________ that/for ___________" - check
3 columns of lorem ipsum - check

Bootstrap has a lot to answer for.

I think it looks pretty good, clean without trying to be too clever. No excessive 'look what I can do with CSS/JS'.

Is it Bootstrap based, I missed that entirely.

I think he's referring to what the likes of Bootstrap brought to the idea of Web Design. Which is odd, because its not Bootstrap, and bootstrap did nothing for "flat design"

Somewhat valid but it really bothers me when someone dismisses good clean design for superficial buzzwords like "flat" design. Flat design is design without depth, something I see in spades on that site.

I'm not dismissing the site. It's clean and aesthetically pleasing.
I just think it looks like another billion clean and aesthetically pleasing websites out there.

I guess I'd give them bonus points for not using pastels :p
