i'm more inclined to the light stubble variety rather than full beard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,256 ✭✭✭metaoblivia

Not usually a full on beard, but some men look good with some stubble. However, it's not comfortable when you kiss them. For the most part, I like clean shaven men. Depends on the guy though.

I really dislike beards, don't like looking at them, don't like the way they feel. They're just a major turn-off for me.

Absolutely. Love love love them :D

Full beards especially. In fact, anything between a "5 o'clock shadow" and Santa Clause is fine with me

dont like full beard, but do like bit of stubble

There's only a few men who can pull off a proper beard, most are those half hearted efforts of beards, thankfully the OH has a lovely proper beard..:D

dont like beards. sometimes stubble can be hot, but it can also be sore. though ive never kissed a man with a beard. but i cant see myself ever wanting to..

so to summarise my little ramble.. NO.

I prefer the naked face to the face with hair, tbh.

It truly depend on the man.

    If it this:

    then oooooooh yeah!!!!! ;)

    If its this:

then its a big NO WAY !!!!

Stubble - oh god yeah. And a bit of a beard can look hot. Santa Claus though? No!
However, it's not comfortable when you kiss them.

One of the big turn offs around full on beards or anything more than stubble is the food particles you can see dangling off them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 411 ✭✭HereticPrincess

    Yep!

    Mostly stubble, or styled beards..
Like side-burns that turn into trimmed beards around the chin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 600 ✭✭✭PurplePrincess

definitely no to a full beard, i think they're a bit creepy for some reason.

stubbble can be incredibley sexy on the right guy though so its a yes to that.

Have to say, I love the feel of it too. It's super manly. Obviously beard rash is not attractive, but that only really happens if you've been doing marathon make-out sessions.

For those of us with soft, sensitive skin, it can happen much more quickly than that!

Not a full beard but god stubble or a teeny bit of a beard on a dark haired man is so hot! ;):o

    I like trimmed beards/stubble.

It depends on the guy though. Some of them I just want to knock out and shave them whilst they're unconscious.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,073 ✭✭✭sam34

no to a full beard, but stubble on a man can be soooooooooooooooo damn sexy.

little beards (what my mother would call a smig) can be nice too.

i love snogging a guy with stubble.

can i also add, for the record, that getting head from a guy with a moustache is divine :D;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,252 ✭✭✭✭Madame Razz

    No.

And whilst stubble is sexy beard rash is a pain in the hole. Hard to conceal and takes forever to clear, esp if it's bad:rolleyes:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,055 ✭✭✭snickerpuss

Love soft proper beards. Stubble looks really good but just gives horrible stubble rash. Definately a fan of beards. And if slightly nerdy glasses are involved then so much the better!

Definitely not attractive to me. Stubble is ok but as the others have said it hurts.

Ah, Moustasches are very hit and miss really. Tom Selleck = Badass though. There are moustaches that look terrible though so it is VERY Hit and miss.

Like you would plan anything less:P

I miss my stubbly beard, it makes me look way older and a helluva lot better looking IMHO.

I don't find beards attractive, per se. I find a whole package attractive! If that whole package happens to have a beard on it, great. If not, that's fine! I would never not be with a guy I liked because he had facial hair and I would never be with a guy just because he did.

I think I basically just didn't answer the question at all there! :pac:

I won't argue with your reasonable point Sam :pac: but moustaches just remind me of 70s porn, Liverpool FC in the 70s/80s, cheesiness in general.

    So no.

I looooooooove beards! Not the full on type, the groomed one. Like, it's not dangling from the chin. As mentioned, like the one Jake Gyllenhaal had here-> http://www.esquire.com/cm/esquire/images/Cf/jake-gyllenhaal-1207-lg.jpg

My fantastic man-friend has it like that... So hot... Swoon :p

    And everywhere in between.

I'm a rugged looking man who happens to be a pretty boy on the inside:p

    So no.

i would always have said the same, and never found men with taches attractive. but then one night i got *ahem* very close to a friend who has a tache and well, i discovered the delights of it.

if you can get beyond the pornstar look, trust me, it is so f*cking worth it ;)

nope, for reasons as outlined above I could never do it;):p

i suppose it's like everything. some things make people go crazy, others not so crazy.

what floats ones boat may not float another's.

    different strokes, for different folks.

trying to think of more clichés to say that different people like different things :pac:
