Um, why would you want to talk about that stuff on a public forum?

Considering he hasn't even specified what he meant by "good stuff", I reckon he doesn't really know what he's talking about. This thread seems to be going nowhere. I'm going to give it 24 hours to see if discussion picks up. Otherwise, it will be locked for going so far off-topic.

Let's see some good debate people! :)

Yes I do think it's acceptable after a certain level of maturity. I mean there's nothing wrong with watching porn now and then, everyone has sexual needs and need to relieve it someway, but being addicted and watching nothing but porn and haivng a porn collection is pretty... weird.

I watch porn the odd time, sure I'm only human and can't see any harm in it. While I'm not afraid to admit watching it, I wouldn't be one to discuss it. I've always had the view that sex was a private thing and wouldn't feel comfortable discussing the details. That, and I just don't find it all that interesting.

I'm not fully in agreement that sex education should be a large part of teaching in school. I'll admit that school does play a large part in social development but I feel as though most of that responsibility falls on the parents with respect to their children's well-being. I'd worry about schools losing focus on academics due to having pressure on them to focus too much on social well-being which never seemed like the sort of thing that could be 'taught'.

But of course, that'd be in an ideal situation. In reality, some parents either try to avoid dealing with it, are not well-informed themselves or their children don't feel comfortable asking them. Which is a bit crap or something, I don't know. :pac:
