    Is that before or after the automatic 14 days unvouched for 'sick days'. My friends and family who work in the PS consider this an annual entitlement. Doctors certs are only needed for anything above this. This is what they consider sick days.

    These are considered holidays to be used every year.

    For your information even in the boom taking 14 sick days in the private sector would get you sacked unless you had very specific reasons.
