Twas pretty mental when I was walking home around 5-6, students falling into peoples gardens while trying to make their way to the B'town presumably.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if there were any accidents later (god forbid).

I just don't see the point in waking up, and then start drinking straight away. My housemates started at 10.30 this morning and still going.

    What a waste of money

Yeah when I drove past, there were people bent over walls and pants down and what not. Crazy. Wouldn't mind have gone out tonight though. Nobody I know wants to though :pac:

Done a few labs of town there. Noticed girls spread eagle on footpath, fights, riding over walls, puking, arrests...
And who said Xmas wouldnt be as much fun when the students union were organising it :D

So glad I went out last night because the thought of drinking today made me feel sick.

I've already witnessed what was pretty much a drunken brawl on my street between about 20-30 people a few hours ago. There was punching, shouting and crying. Oh and bottles were waved around aswell. Makes me feel so proud to be in CIT:rolleyes:

The Gaurds eventually came(twice, second time because some people returned to finish off whatever the hell they were trying to accomplish) One of the gaurds radioed that one was in posession of a knife(seriously!) When they left someone kicked in the glass panel on their door. What's weird is this was in UCC territory near The Lough on Gould Street.

And at exactly 2:05 I wonder what the scene is like in town. I'm almost intrigued to have a look.

I read that and decided with a few friends to go check out town...best idea ever.

People fighting, throwing up all over the place, lying drunk in the street... no wonder CIT didn't want an association with xmas day this year.

Funniest thing I have ever seen happened about 10 minutes ago, driving back through b'town we saw this fella from CIT (cos he was wearing a society hoodie) pissing against a door, took out his key and went inside.

    Wow!!:eek::eek:

That's disgraceful behaviour but it shows that some people just can't handle their drink

True but I thought you would've been too busy. I'm glad I didn't go out anyways. Feeling good today...

What I don't get is the whole drinking-all-day thing. It's a huge waste of money. Pub prices aren't exactly cheap. People also feel the need to be in the Btown by midday because it's usually at capacity by 1 p.m. This is the first mistake. People stepping on your feet, someone spilling your drink, people cutting in line. This a leads to trouble.

And you're not going to be able to remember anything and chances are you will not get into any nightclub.

So basically you waste a lot of money drinking in an overcrowded bar from about 12-9, get too drunk to function because of the longevity of drinking, pass out (somewhere) early and miss the real fun. Oh and if you're real lucky you might wake up with just a bloody nose.

I'd say there's more people coming from other colleges than actual CITers. All my old class mates from home seem to come to it and they not in college.

College is so quiet this week now that lectures are over, which is wicked I can study in peace!

it wasn't that quiet. I was amazed at the amount of people that were in. The 2 side car parks were full, dunno about the back

Could be different times, mid afternoon was kinda busy but the mornings and evenings weren't jammed, least I didn't think so?

You're correct. It's not as busy. I came to cark park at 9.10 this morning and half the lower ones were empty. It's great.
