For me, Home is anywherre that I am comfortable enough to do nothing but chat to my friends and family, and just generally relax and have a laugh.

I have felt at home on a beach, I have felt at home in my house. But Home to me isn't any bricks and mortar. It's not really a place either, it's more of a feeling of security and comfort.

Home means something different to so many people, as you probably get from all your replies.

For me, home means a family get together!

My parents home is one of those places where the door is never closed! There is always someone coming and going and a fresh pot of tea is always 'just made'. It is the chaos of my parents, my 2 brothers and 2 sisters, their other halves, my nieces and nephews, my husband and son, all talking over each other, 16 different conversations on the go at once and the ability to keep them all going!
And that is just when there is immediate family there!!You then have to add to the mix, all the in-laws and out-laws, all the family friends.
The other great thing about family get togethers is that when the chips are down, there is always someone there to help pick you up, dust you off and give you the kick in the a@se to get going again!!!

Our family is well known for throwing parties, whether it is a birthday, communion, or even more recently the baby showers and hen nights, everyone loves to get one of our unique invitations to an out of the ordinary party!!! I would love the opportunity to host a Michael Jackson themed karaoke party for my eldest sister, Mel, as she never had an 18th or a 21st and she really deserves a party. She has been a god-send this year when Murphy's law kicked in and turned my little world up around. She is a brill mom to her 3 kids, a fantastic sister to all of us, an amazing daughter (but so not the favourite!!!), and a treasure of a friend!!! Please give me this opportunity to reward her!!

Home is... where you're not when you feel like there's something missing (hey hallmark! my cv is in the post!)

my ideal party: few friends, large screen TV, surround sound, few bottles of nice red, some fancy (but not too fancy) finger foods and some classic sci-fi/horror to scare the crap out of the lot of us :)

A House is made of walls and beams: A HOME is built with love and dreams

I would like to have a party with loads of types of wine to taste with maybe a casino/007 theme! To celebrate my Girlfriends graduation from college. woo party!

I didn't realise we were supposed to write about the Party too.

Well, I have to say I would get it on Inch Beach in Kerry. Get my 4 best friends; John, Biff, Killian and Sully, The Lads GF's, and another 2 people.

I'd Get a BBQ, a good few Steaks and Burgers, Plenty of Beer, A few Ipods with a docking station, and let the night take us where it goes!!!

I would definitely get some Firewood and have a small bonfire too so we can sit outside for a bit.

I love partying, I love my friends.

(I'm actually very excited incase I win this:D)

Home is somewhere I can go after a hard day, chill out, have a drink, watch tv and unwind with the family or my friends.
Its the place where I feel the most comfortable and where iv had some great and irreplaceable memories.
