clay shells query

well lads, just wondering if any of ye know anything about cheap clay shells in the tipperary area, I heard something ages ago, but unfortunetly the fella who told me has gone hunting in scotland for a while! :pac:
any info would be handy!

Stakelums, Railway road, Thurles. 28gr- 7.5 - Eley Olympic - €40 per 250.
He has more different shells but they go up inprice as they are better but for practice the Olympic are great.

If you haven't been before ask for Sean, but don't go Wednesday's, its his day off and finishes 3pm an Saturdays. Just bring plenty of cash. He has a good stock of rifles, shotguns, bullets, shells, clays, knives, clothes, accessories the lot. Everytime i go down "for a look" i end up spending money i didn't intend to. Sound lad though.

Don't practice with different shells to the ones you'll use in competition. Keep it consistent.

yeah, thanks for the tip pullandbang, i'd have more interest in hunting rather than clays, but yeah you're right it's best to keep it consistant, learned that the hard way while trying to analyse my shot pattern using 2 different companies
