The statistic of average public service pay - across the spectrum of over 300,000 public servants in Ireland - is available from the Irish Central Statistics office ( CSO ) and is 966 euro per week. Agreed. The only humorous thing is to see the highest paid public service in the known world cribbing ( + threatening strikes ) about their lot, but it would be even funnier if it were not so serious.:D
