    Mmmh, the tunnel between France and Italy is 14 km long iirc. It's a road and rail tunnel. Went through it when I was a kid. That was long!

    check out the bruce highway/princes highway in oz. it basically goes around the whole country. twice!! in fact, it joins up with itself so its infinity kms long!! so there!! ;)
