Probably not of much use to you being a whole car, but a full spares car can come in handy..!

For sale is my beloved 1994 Mercedes-Benz E220 Estate (S124/W124).

I've owned the car since October 2014. I originally bought it as a project/parts car but realized it was in too good of a shape to take off of the road!

I am now in a situation where I cannot get insured for at least another year and I think it's pointless to keep it sitting for that long.

The car is in great condition for it's age and I know that any enthusiast that comes to view the car will be super satisfied!

In terms of mechanical parts there is literally nothing wrong with the car. It passed NCT in April 2015 with absolute ease. The car has 153,000 original miles which can be confirmed. I have service history from 2000 until 2015!

The engine is after a partial rebuild from the pistons up. It has all new seals, plugs, filters, head shim, oil, etc.

The transmission is a 4-speed automatic also in perfect condition. It shifts smoothly through all of the gears up and down!

The brakes are also in good shape. The discs and pads are in decent shape. The brake system was fully flushed and brake hoses were replaced prior to NCT.

The car has a new 70A battery with a 2-year warranty, front lower ball joints, full steering flush etc.

There are original Mercedes-Benz 16" alloys wheels on the car that came off of a W210. They are in very good condition with all center caps and bolts (3 spare caps as well) and BRAND NEW tyres. They are Uniroyal Rainsport 3 (205/55/R16) which alone are €300! The car also has a 16" spare.

The car is mostly rust free. Important parts like sills, frame etc. are not rusty at all. Both front wings had some rust (Driver's side wing has been fixed) but other than that the car is fine.

The car has usual features such as 4 electric windows, electric mirrors, remote central locking, alarm, electric sunroof with tilt & slide (working), ABS, SLS (Self levelling suspension) etc.

There is also a new sound system installed. 4 decent quality speakers along with a head unit with USB, SD card, bluetooth and remote but I also have the original unit that came with the car!

With the sale you will receive previously mentioned service history along with original manuals, all 3 keys as well as 2 remote fobs, original car jack, original first aid kit, original warning triangle and a box of spare parts!

The biggest downside to the car currently is unfortunately the paintwork. Personally I care about the mechanical side of things and I was looking into a full re-spray but I cannot keep two cars at a time so it has to go in it's current state.

Please do call me with any questions about the car! If I don't answer I'm most likely at work but I will be sure to get back to you! Thanks

Mobile: 0863332022 Price: €1999 (I'm obviously willing to negotiate)

You left out two important things anyone interested in buying your S124 would want to know:

    1. is it a 7-seater?
    2. till when is the NCT valid?

Also put up some pictures or link to an ad in adverts / donedeal

GLWS, sounds like a nice car but I'd say your asking price is optimistic...

I have it listed on both Adverts and DD but since I have a new account on here I cannot post links. I didn't put those things because I took it for granted from the other sites. It is not a 7 seater and NCT is valid until April 2016. It is also red in color.

    This is your S124 so!

    Linky

Nice car, but you will have to drop your asking price if you are serious about selling it. In my humble opinion and I know very little about cars.
