Hi guys I've recently started getting to know someone at work and he told me he suffers from narcissistic personality disorder, or thinks he does. Saying that you've this disorder is a nice front to talk about yourself all the time and dismiss anyone who tries to tell you to shut up. Tell him to get a professional pyschiatric opinion about it instead of diagnosing himself. You come across as a pretty nice person for being patient and understanding with him when others would have distanced themselves from him.
