    3.50 small fury 5/4
    2.20 lowther 5/4

both of these should be winning going on their last runs
1.55 midnight chase 7/2 big drop in class for this one
great course record, expect him to jump well round here
and put them to the sword

    saturdays big race
seriously fancy walkon for this at 9/2
played it safe doing it ew but off 10-12 this one has
a huge chance of going one better this time and a repeat
of its last run will suffice imo

Just after realising Ballinahow lady was running in Navan earlier on in the 2:55. Came second at 20/1. This is a horse i've many times and is one 2 look out for in the future. Regret not checking my atr tracker. Could have made a few bob :(

LINGFIELD 12:00 HOLD THE STAR 33/1

    NEWBURY 12:50 FABULOUS FRED 10-1

  • Registered Users Posts: 21 HRB

    Any reason why??

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,184 ✭✭✭3ndahalfof6

I think HOLD THE STAR has a very good chance of getting in the 1st three and might win, while connections felt the horse was good enough running in class 4, it is now in class 6 (albeit it for the 2nd time) I think the distance might be the key factor, plus the drop in grade.

FABULOUS FRED, should come on for jumping the fences, the distance will be fine but most important, if it stays soft, the horse will react very well on the ground.

I don't normally give reasons, it is why I post in the fancies, but on the big races once the guys set up a thread I will give a reason and to date I am not doing to bad,

2 winners out of three big races.

My way of looking at a race is who can beat the favorite and I go from there.
