    Well I accepted Dental Nursing first round and I'm hoping for Dental Hygiene second round so if that drops I'll be giving up my place so you never know! I'm holding out a little hope that Dental Hygiene will drop from 455* to 450. Only 5 points off... *sigh*

    UCC Arts. They were 335, I got 345 and it went up to 360. Do you think I have a chance??

    I'm kinda hopin for science teachin in UL to drop by 5 points....i got 455 and its 460 this year....was 450 last year :(

    That * is a pain in the backside.

    And Galway Girleen, never say never. I'm hoping for a 5 point drop in my own course, there's always a chance.

    Also got medicine at Trinners as it went down one point to 728.. Woppeeeeeee!!!!! I think it may have been the only medicine course to drop.

    I missed my first course by just 5 points. I went into the cao website this morning..I went into 'My Applicaton' but the webpage was exactly the same as when i got my round one offer. Does that mean that i have got no other offers or is it that im looking at the wrong web page or what?? Thanks for the help!

    Sounds like you didn't get any other offers.

    Anyway as I suspected the points for science at UCD stayed the same, looks like it's repeating for me. Yay. :rolleyes:

    it didnt come down, he prolly did it with a-levels, med didnt go down in UCD or UCC, just checked both, and i doubt others did

    God, that is a pain. So near and yet so far! I suppose there is still some slight chance, if some of those offered it in Round 2 have already accepted their R1 offer, and are happy enough to stick with it.
