I'm eating as little as possible today, given that I'm heading out for an all-you-can-eat in Jimmy Chungs tonight!

    :pac:

I think it would be cool if there was a gentlemen's club outing organised for the same night as the ladies' lounge meet up!

Ladies on one side of the bar, men on the other! haha :)

I was thinking about a Gentlemans club beers earlier today. I do think it would have to have a dress code - Smart casual at the least (And none of that 'oh jeans are smart casual'), cleanly shaven, or a finely groomed beard (none of that designer stubble :pac: )

We'd have to pick a fine establishment for it though...

Jesus no--That sounds like a nightclub I ended up in a (good) few years back in Arklow.

The DJ was projecting the old Playstation 1 music screen onto the wall and all the women were on one side waiting on the men to ask them up to dance.

    Scary stuff!!!

I think I've been in that place ... they used to have Tekken 3 on a loop when it was quiet, projected onto an off-white, lumpy wall with Scooter and Dr. Alban blasting out full volume on cruddy speakers; for crushing your soul and searing your eardrums.

Thats the one--Tekken on a loop and the DJ had like 2 speakers like the ones off your old stereo system on the table beside his "decks"

The Tunnel--Thats what it was called.Under some hotel on the main street.Think there was even sawdust on the floor. And if I remember right there were lads in there wearing wellies.

I couldn't afford the designer stubble, is the regular stuff ok? :p

Gentlemans Club beers sound good, maybe in a quieter pub or something like that.
Alternatively we could crash the LL beers. :pac:

In other news I wish I was home in my bed asleep. I'm so fecking tired today for some reason. :(

Don't crucify me here, I know a lot of people who are not a fan, but No.3 Fade St (Or 'The Snail Bar' or 'The Bar With No Name') is a really nice place, with a great selection of drinks, and the seating area outside is great on any bit of a warm afternoon - We could head along there for early afternoon drinks, and then onwards to someplace a bit wilder?

And yes, I wish I was in bed asleep, but I've to meet some clients, and because I was supposed to be back in the UK, I'm getting chucked out of my own bed in Waterford :(

    Should have stayed in Dublin!

Never been there, but I like trying new places. I'd be up for it if a few others are. Maybe we could go there for a pint or two and then to Karma. :pac:

Damn, thats crappy... hopefully you find somewhere to crash for the night. :(

It's a nice spot, don't believe the naysayers - They even keep the music down to a talkable level, those lovely folk :)
