    You know what bugs me? the ridiculous Americanism Caucasian.

    What the F, is a caucasian. it is not even in Europe FFS. Nobody in America, despite a small proportion, are of obviously Caucasian descent. Which is in Asia.

    No, in America, 'colored' is used for non-whites, although confusingly whites are not whites if they speak Spanish.

    As noted by another poster, the NAACP seem ok with it though?

    Is "coloured" consider a very offensive term?

    It definitely has negative connotations for me, but I don't know exactly how offensive it is.

    Edit: That's negative as in people who use the word "coloured" use it in a derogatory way, not that I see people described as coloured in a negative light.

    Anyway we are really the coloured ones. This morning i was green gettign sick... and go red with sunburn... also these PC Police are yellow!
