Dublin is big and lots and lots of people live/work there, this site is for people to talk about stuff, lots of people talking about Dublin is kinda inevitable

But... wasn't that my point? I thought we were having an argument. Are you playing some kind of cruel mindgames?

    Compared to some err . . . certain forums . . . boards.ie is very lenient.:)

I agree with stuff, but I also disagree with things.

There. I've said it. Nailed my colours to the mast right there.

I think mods think posters are uber sensitive, I suggested someone might be mental because they wouldn't go out with someone with the same name as an ex.
Which I stand by, it is mental.

Seemingly I'm not allowed to say something is mental. Which means if someone says they like to skin small animals and use them as puppets I can't say it's mental.

    Wahey! Aren't we sensitive.

This is a privately owned website. If you don't like their rules, go elsewhere. Simple as that really.

It's fine just the way it is and that's why it's the largest discussion forum in Ireland. They must be doing it right.

In your opinion they are, but people are allowed to question it.

Questioning things can lead to good things you know.

OP, 1. You sir, are a *blank*.

    2. That post was one of the biggest loads of drivel I've ever heard.

    ;)

Try the second one; it can be insulting without getting you banned. It's personal attacks that aren't tolerated, but you can attack ideas with great vitriol if you like.

True, but when it's the same question being asked over and over and over it gets kinda pointless. We have done this subject to death in feedback, it comes up all the time.

Yes boards is modded firmly. The majority have no problem with that. The minority who do can either abide by the rules here or go somewhere else with different rules. The majority, the ones who make this the largest discusion board in Ireland as was already pointed out, are the ones who will be listened to. The system is not going to change to suit the vast minority of people who can't work within it.

    Lolcat time?

In Before The Lock (As in "I'm getting this post in and spamming the hell out of the place, before the obviously inevitable locking of this thread. Go me. I rock. I'll die a virgin, but it's okay because my postcount has just increased by 1.")

Agreed, wont say what forums, but i'm perma banned from a few, mostly for stating sound fact-based rational opinions that in no way attacked a poster. I can't even remember the last time a mod on here told me to "shut it".

Awaits a mod to tell me to shut it:pac:

Does it have to be an AH mod? Cos I've got quotas to fill, I'm good on the ban numbers but my abuse levels need improving this quarter

There's plenty of banter allowed. Someof us can just manage to string it together without resorting to three swear words per sentence.

Get over yourself and go back to the langer contae.

bet when You started the thread it was with no malice, just a train of thought kind of thing.........banging your hand on head saying "why the fcuk did i post that now?

the upside is if you had just stopped at" implications" Your post would proably have got zero replies, instead it has run to four pages:confused::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac::pac:
