    I agree with the OP about Authority. To hell with it!

    Now if you don't mind i'm going to burglarise your home OP. Since we both agree on the pointlessness of authority and rules i'm sure there's no problem between us.

    The problem is that people who stress authority tend to be abusing it/ encouraging it's abuse.

    If you were to be punished for theft it wouldn't be because "you didn't respect authority" it would be because you were doing something immoral that caused harm to another person.

    I suspect the OP is lamenting the celebration of authorities dominating "criminals", rather than denying the need for authority.
