I just took some valerian hops to try and nod off. I come home from work wrecked, then watch tv for a few hours and get giddy before bed.... Also ridiculously giddy in the mornings.

I dont sleep much, 6 hours is good for me. Is there any other bad sleepers in after hours?

Moi, I tried that stuff too and found it useless.

You can order GABA (get the powder) online, I find it great.

    I hate night time.

I like sleep. I find 10 hours works well for me. 8 will do in a pinch. Anything less than that and I can barely function.

+1 for the nighttime "giddyness". Im also wrecked comin home from work but somehow (eh..prob Boards) is the reason i dont get to bed before 1am.

I love my weekend lie ins though...

I like about 10 hours sleep, sometimes I sleep for 14 hours. I'm a lazy sack. During college though, i'm lucky to get 3 or 4 hours sleep a night.

Seriously? Yeah the valerian hops is weak, I take a dose and a half but it gets me there eventually. Some nights my brain is just doing cartwheels.

The DT's are the worst form of sleep loss....

no matter how early I get up in the morning, I can never sleep until about 2am. Usually I feel tired at 11

So i get about 7 hours sleep a night

I'd love a lie-in every morning but with school I have to get up at half6... so get about 6 hours sleep during term time at the most

Preferably 10 hours or so would be nice, more often than not it's somewhere around 6 hours leaving me with that tired feeling all day just hanging over me which somehow only manages to clear itself at 11 0 clock that night... then the whole thing starts again.

Radiatorsun, what else can a nacroleptic do?

I defo need more than 7 hours anyway, I always get just about that on school nights and christ I'm knackered in the morning. I do be grand during the day then, but when I get home I just collapse and can't do any homework or anything. Especially during winter when it's dark in the evenings. 8-10 hours is best, preferably 10. I think I'm a nightowl, because all tiredness I feel during the day clears up at about 10. In ancient times, I'd be the night-duty gaurdian.

Hate having to sleep in general, thank god for 24 hour places to go and have a walk around. Right now, I am getting around 5-6 hours, I can function well on less.

Getting around 10 hours, summer sleep time!

I need more than 7 hours too, but I'm usually extremely lucky if I'm asleep by midnight, and have to get up at 7ish then (or 5ish if I'm on the dreaded 7am shift!)
I tend to catch up on sleep on my days off, and these days I seem to be waking up at 8am on an off day, which can't be very healthy...

I guess that's what you are :pac:

Personally i get 5-7 college nights. At weeks I easily sleep 10+ hours. Unemployment ftw

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

This ^^ hence the reason I get so little sleep.

If I'm too hot I stick me toes out of bed but with my bad circulation they just freeze so I have to put them back in and Im boiling... I get so uncomfortable..

Im just a mess trying to sleep basically :P

    Ooooh matron! =P

Always either one of the two extremes for me, it depends on whats bothering me / how my day has been in general. Max is around 7 hours but closer to say 6-2hrs at times. I give out about it, but Im used to it by now.

Some people can sleep for 10 hours and more!!!
lord sometimes wish i could, 6 hours does me just fine!
I think with me it is that night time is my time, no kids running around. So i do stay up late and then before i know it its time to get up with my little ones again.

Usually between 5-7 hours sleep. Once I wake up, that's it, can't get back to sleep. Don't know when I last had 10+ hours sleep.

Wish I was like that, I could wake up, find out the entire world's population has swine flu, get shot in the arse, find out Lisbon got a no, try and chase flying monkeys playing drums around the house, meet 4 supermodels and get all their numbers, yet if all this happened within 15 minutes of me getting up I'd have no problem crawling back into bed and sleeping. Really annoying as sometimes my body clock does it's best to stop me sleeping past 12 yet it's easily overridden.

I need around 8 hours in bed a night, maybe 5 or 6 of them sleeping. It takes me ages to get to sleep, at least an hour, sometimes 3 or 4 depending on how tired I am. Usually just listen to music til I drift off.
