Heh, nah I called in last week because there was a countdown timer on and foolishly thought that when she said "We have to wrap this up before the timer runs out" that she meant "We have to wrap this up before the timer runs out."

heres my proposed solution for wednesday night thursday morning coin game. I'm sorry I can't figure out how to imbed the image properly.
    1. Coin too small
    2. Map wrong
    3. 22 cent coin
    4. Bottom missing from 1
    5. Globe not oriented correctly

I could be wrong as what I found most difficult about this puzzle is that my Standard definition television didn't display the image at a high enough resolution. It was only with the answer and working back was I able to solve it. Even then I could be wrong.

Strange they didnt give the solution, because they did on last weeks one where the answer was 7.89, admittedly it was displayed for about 2 secs.

They are all adding the numbers, when the question says count them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,383 amacachi

She's saying "the sum of the even numbers" though.

They are all adding the numbers, when the question says count them.

But she keeps saying the sum and add. It's very confusing!

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭ billy the squid

Yeah, she is saying the sum while the caption says count the numbers.

I recon the answer is 18

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭ billy the squid

Answer was 178, someone provide proof they didn't pull that one out of their arse.

She is saying that this is the second last game, looks like they know how long it will take before a right answer is received.

you can clearly hear the producer telling her what to say. this was solved here a half hour ago.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 319 ✭✭ Land Of Idiots

    Ok, I'm thinking 97?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭ billy the squid

If you were to write down the numbers from 2 to 242, how many times would you write down the number 2?

    a guess, 94

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,582 ✭✭✭✭ murpho999

Definitely 97. How people ring in with answers like '35' is beyond me! But then when I think of it I'm often baffled how Play TV come up with their own answers too!

    2, 12,20 21 22 23 24 25 26 = 10
    27 28 29 32 42 52 62 72 82 92 =20
    102 112 120 121 122 123 124 125 126 = 30
    127 128 129 132 142 152 162 172 182 192 =40
    200 201 202 203 204 205 206 207 208 209 210 = 52
    211 212 213 214 215 216 217 218 219 =62
    220 221 222 223 224 =73
    225 226 227 228 229 83
    230 231 232 233 234 235 236 237 238 =93
