only the people who get through to the studio get a "second chance"

found this on the website on the presenter profile
JG Murphy, from Dublin in Ireland

How thick do they think Irish people are?

I don't think this is transmitted from Ireland for legal reasons.

its been on almost an hour .... think of the money they have taken in !!!

even if they got a handful of calls per minute (50) (see my earlier example)... thats 50x1.50x60 =€4500

realistically i think they have more than 5 phone lines....a lot more

Transmitting from abroad would also aid in avoiding presenters running into disgruntled punters on O'Connell Street.

100 would be a more realistic figure.

Every one rings with caller id.

They then have the number of every caller. They pick a random winner and call him on the same number and then ask his name. Seems straight forward to me. Does not mean you have to get through to the studio!
Can't believe I'm actually defending them here.

Are there four words left to get?

I don't think it's possible to get past 3 more.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 29,476 ✭✭✭✭Our man in Havana

This could be very interesting if there is no answer.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 319 ✭✭Land Of Idiots

They won't go that far. The next word they get will be the last.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,316 ✭✭✭✭amacachi
