I couldn't sleep at all last night and then I fell asleep after breakfast, so I never left the house at all!

I know most people who work in Grafton St. McDonald's.

    Kylemore McD is good because:
    1) They have McCafé and ofc I need double chocolate frappes to survive (but they're crap at making them tbh. The ones from O'Connell Bridge are so much better).
    2) Car park at the back of the place. It's deserted all through the night.
    3) They're so zombie-like at night that you can actually tell them that they forgot to add whatever to your order, and they won't even check. They'll just give it to you for free and assume that you paid.

    What subject is that?
If it helps, my first Experimental Methods lecture was about how to round off numbers >_> I wish they'd kept it at that level though!

Told ya you shouldn't dislike those long breaks... Friends!

I realise that you've probably made it by now, but...

The average tortilla is made with just potatoes, eggs, salt and pepper, oil to fry it in, and some people (in Madrid at least) add chopped onion or cheese to the mix. In some parts of Spain they might add chopped bell pepper or some other extra ingredient to it, but that's just wrong!

Stuffed mushrooms? Spanish tortillas should be served as is (hot or cold), maybe topped with tuna or some ketchup on the side. You can also serve it with a simple salad or as a tortilla sandwich.

As long as you don't make something blasphemous like this, you'll be ok and I'll let you live.

what about mushrooms in it, that wrong too, no reason >_>

It def didnt look as pretty as that pic or anywhere near it, think pan too big and no kitchen roll to take out excess oil so was a bit umm abstract but fuppin' delicious!

I sat in a lecture today for an hour and we covered two things: quantitative methods and how to operate a calculator while trying to express functions...ffs! I hate that boring subject already, and we have it until May :(

On a better note: had a proper laugh with college friends today, it was good:D

ah we just did that stuff as part of our labs as the first lab or something, a whole module on it? ughhhhh

Usually make it with just potato and egg. This time I put in mushrooms and cheese in it, potatoes and half dozen eggs. Oh and garlic. it was reallllly amazing, way better than usual but it did break when flipping, the pan was bad, it stuck. :'(
With that we've had quorn spicy bites, beans and salad. Salad was really good! mmmm avocado and brocolli

it's a ketchup meal mon! Rare I say that.
I actually bought ketchup and brown sauce over to eat wiht it and it was too nice to use them on it

Don't worry, that picture was of what NOT to do. Ugh.

They should look like this but it doesn't always happen! There's special pans that they sell in Spain (crappier versions available in other countries but I can't remember if that includes Ireland) to make Spanish tortillas. Even with a set, I still mess up sometimes.

Now I'm hungry... Your food sounds too delicious >_<

I haven't had one of them in yonks!
    I'm craving one now haha

I've never had one of them. I don't like bournville though. But dark chocolate with actual rum is so nice.

Just bleached the hell out of my hair (minus underlayer at the back, which I didn't highlight the last time so it's still my virgin brown colour) and now I'm not sure if I should do the second bleaching and leave myself as a blonde (it's veeery nearly there but still a bit too yellow for the toner to be able to deal with it imo) or dump some ashy light brown on my hair and leave it at that... Both options would require eyebrow lightening, but that's alright. I know I can pull off both (been there, done that) but.. meh. Undecided.

No pictures because I don't feel like it, and I very slightly messed up one side when I asked my mum for help and she kept being annoying and sloooow and just generally pissing me off.

I love how strong my hair is. It still feels so soft ^^

So it all turns out great in the end when you go Kylemore, you get free stuff and no hassle inside or outside

Quantitative Methods...basically how to assemble statistics and results from scientific experiments into a workable, and readable format...didnt learn anything new yet except that the lecturer has a penchant for Sharp brand scientific calculators lol:pac:

But I DO dislike the long breaks, so boring and I don't get to see any friends at all!

Not late no, I'm gonna have to bleach at least some bits (the side that mum messed up) so I'm giving it a few days, though my scalp seems perfectly fine but you never know.

My sister thinks I should leave it blonde. I'm not too sure because my hair grows at a rate of 0.5-1mm per day usually, so roots can be a bitch. I think I'll bleach and tone it on friday, see how it looks, and if I don't like it I'll dye over it with a light brown or something.
Have I ever mentioned by love affair with John Frieda's shampoos and conditioners? No? Well, they're amazing. Just saying.

I wouldn't say your hair is in bits at all! Or at least it doesn't look it. I have a secret admiration for your hair :o I love black hair when it suits the person.

umm I think that means it's gona be blonde, then you might make it brown? :o
don't think I've ever used them, always see it listed under that 3/4€ off voucher you get in boots but I just throw them out.

ah it isss, it's all damaged and broken, been too long since I got it cut, plus I might find my fringe again to annoy Tar. I wouldnt say my hair is black, used to dye to black but not too too black coz that just makes you look really sick or soemthing. I love how hair dye makes your hair so soft and shiny.

I said black as in, very dark shade that looks almost black. My hair is dark brown but not dark enough for my to like it.
Colours closer to black are just to beautiful. True black looks better when it's natural though.

Agreed. I dyed my hair black last year. It was grand, but now its faded so its kind of a dark brown shade.
I am so jealous of people with natural black hair.

ye I think I used to dye mine a colour called darkest brown, which everyone would call black but its just less fake looking.

If I were all pwetty, or if I were a guy, I'm pretty sure I would just shave my head. Less hassle. But... yeah.

Lovely pictures LOS! I like the fringe.

So, Tar, what's wrong with fringes?

    They're horrible

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,541 ✭✭✭anothernight

No they are not! Some people look terrible without a fringe, or with specific types of fringe. But I wouldn't say having one or not is horrible. Depends on the person, I guess.

    *should be working*
    :(

what about a shaved head with a fringe circa. 1993 scumbag?

thanks but they don't really show what it was like, most times having a fringe is handier, side fringe so annoying when it keeps blowing into your face, full fringe just does what the hell it likes but then it is less forgiving when your hair gets messy or wet :/
plus it hides my big forehead brains?
    They're horrible

 no they're not! any time my fringe grows out and I get it re-cut the hairdresser always says its so much better and I believe her :(

I was born in '91 and I hope my dress sense isn't as bad as to be stuck in the 90s, nor as crude and rough as to be considered a scumbag.

Jesus that reminds me of that time at 3 or 4am in Madrid, when we were walking around the city and we could hear people laughing and stuff from a bar across the street, and we knew that all those people were skinheads and wondered what they'd been up to that night. =/
