Today sucked! Ended up travelling to college for only one lecture in the end, froze my ass off this morning to do that :(

I swear on Saturday I'm going into town for hot chocolate, I need a warm reward for all this snowy travel!

Are people who live in town meant to say "going into town"? Is that not like living in Galway and saying you're going to Galway?

Today I made dinner for when mum came back from work and she was so happy ^_^

    >.<:p Ok you win this one! I'm going to Butler's to get some hot chocolate...yes...that'll do :pac:

See what happens when you get LOADS of sleep? you should promote that fact everywhere...you recovering sleep = a good thing:D

Yes, what happens is that I wake up with a completely numb right arm hanging off my trunk and only realise when I get out of bed sharply so that it moves in an awkward way (couldn't feel it at all so I didn't notice until I saw it) and then when feeling comes back my joints hurt!!! That really cheered me up though lol because it was so funny, I imagined how funny it would be to someone watching the scene, and couldn't help but laugh.

I got out of bed at 4pm >_>

I'm gonna pull an all nighter to do some stuff to hand in tomorrow (even though I've no lectures), and to fix my completely messed up sleep pattern. Should be easy, seeing as I can't sleep at night anyway! I loooove the night. I'm happy.

I think I'm also going into town on Saturday to get some hot chocolate ^^ If I don't go to Glasgow that is. I probably won't anyway.

I sort of love that feeling when your arm goes numb, such a strange one that is. It's really funny watching someone try to walk when one leg is like that and they can barely stand up :P

4pm? you are sooooooo lazy, you can never call me lazy again after that...EVER haha!

The staying up late will always make you happy, nighttime being the best time and all that, and I've always found that it's the best time to get any college work done as it seems some people are more productive during the night...true nocturnals!!

Oh yeah you said you would prob be going there in December, but if you dont then you can get chocolate with me then ^_^

Well in that case I might as well just have a long piece of rubber stuck to my shoulder. I couldn't feel it at all, couldn't even feel the lack of it. I only noticed that I couldn't feel my arm when I looked at it and noticed that it looked as though someone had cut it off and just left it there in an awkward angle (which would've hurt a lot, had I had some working nerves there).

I went to bed in the morning! Not my fault at all >_>

Yeah I'm not gonna do the NATS test in the end. There's no point, as even if I passed all the tests (and realistically I can't pass the medical), I wouldn't give up engineering for the world. So mum and I were going to Scotland just because we have the tickets, but then we don't want to end up stuck there if it snows more, and they're very cheap flights anyway, so I think we're staying in Ireland anyway. I wouldn't mind staying.

I feel so damn smug this week. I am the proud owner of expensive ski wear, snow boots, a large SUV w/winter tyres and heated seats - all things that people have criticized me for in the past. Where are those critics now huh? That's right, stuck in the snow freezing their sorry asses off. I also took the week off work.

My kind of foresight is the reason I should be running this godforsaken country
    AMIRITE?

You'll find that in icy conditions, a small (and therefore lighter) car is actually better. So if your car's tyres hadn't been made specifically for the current weather, you'd be pretty screwed. *smug*

We learned that there is a physio term for that type of short term damage (as in minutes) to those nerves; it's called Drunken Shoulder I believe:p (describes the way some people who fall asleep while drinking on a chair have their arm dangle over the side, and upon waking up, cannot feel anything there for a minute or so). If you were in some sort of pain and I was there, I might have laughed, who knows :p

    Nope, not at all >_>

Well you would have passed the theory anyway, we both know that;) But getting stuck in Scotland is not the best situation to be in, and you loooooove engineering like you said (even more than aviation though?) it's better you stay then.

You deserve to feel that way, those people wrote you off, and now you can laugh in their faces as you drive right on by :D

And with a whole week off? sucks to be them haha!

Would you really try running this place for a week?

People were keeping me awake with their interesting conversations online and through text. Blame them!

I did pick engineering because I like planes. And trains. So... ^^

Random fact: It costs €150 for a civil wedding according to this

Wasn't me this time at least:pac: Blame them yeah!

Oh trains too? You'd love having to travel on trains as much as I do then ^_^ or maybe not...

A result of random conversation maybe? 150euro is quite cheap so it is!

I'm currently trying to type up a cell biology report due for 9am tomorrow morning, not going well but has to be done, and it's reeeeaaallllly long and also I'm up at 6:20am lol. Oh and being a good best friend listening to someone's problems by text..wish I was there with her to talk about it :(

I love travelling by train ^^ Except in Poland. Never seen worse trains in my life. They didn't even have curtains or AC (at like 40ºC), or even separate seats for each person... They were like leather benches with absolutely no safety measures. Seriously, never again.
The other day I was meant to tell my bf when the bus got to Heuston station, because that's the time he'd be leaving his house to pick me up at Palmerstown. I completely forgot because I was all happy just looking at the trains. And I pass by there every day. The coolness of trains just never gets old!

The random fact was actually used to freak the boyfriend out. It didn't go well. It had no effect whatsoever >_<

Meh, *hugs* good luck with the report. Don't forget to sleep eventually though, as you'll need some rest afterwards.

I would sooooooo be in the running for that then!
For some reason I feel responsible for this comment >_> (Was I drunk? I have the feeling there's something I'm not currently able to remember)

I said maybe not because you might have had a bad experience inter-railing...I was right in a way, Polish trains suck :P Trains are just awesome to look at, if I wasnt relying on them for college...I'd be sooooo excited looking at them when I got the chance ^_^

Lol, not even a passive blink? you need to refine your touch hehe!

Yeah I'll need that thanks! already feeling sleepy ugh...

    Oh that comment...maybe you were:pac: >_>

    Train > Bus.

Well he said something about thinking that I've been mentioning marriage a lot, but then he realised this was in fact the first time I've mentioned it, and that everything else were just his own thoughts or he'd imagined it or something. But he didn't get freaked out, which is the bad part! I understand him not freaking out about kids, but marriage? The first few conversations I ever had with him was me telling him that he was old enough to be married, and him going like "no!!! I don't wanna die yet!!!!!" >_> Typical man...

Oooh it was that time I was meant to wait for a bit before going home and ended up accidentally (and probably drunkenly) falling asleep in your bed as I played with random stuff and pens wasn't it? Gahh I still need to kidnap your bed.

im trying but she has raised a cat army for her inevitable spinsterdom :(

You're trying to run but the things that will keep her company in her spinsterdom are stopping you from running, hence allowing her to get married and not become a spinster and making her maybe get rid of the cat army?

    That doesn't make much sense!!!

Besides, she knows the way to go is "forgetting" to take the pill for a few days and then "forgetting" to tell you. That way you either marry her or are guilted into contributing...

Ok, my bf and I miiight have had this conversation before >_>

They probably want me to stay so that she will only stroke me painfully hard and they can escape to freedom. The last one that tried has three legs now.

Lol true, bus = full of sick old people or smelly people on the buses I've gotten, train is all nice inside but sometimes has alcos on it...

The marriage thing, I'm not surprised anymore lol! You told him and he had like no reaction to first a kids idea, then marriage...kids sometimes freak guys out, I doubt you'll lose sleep over this hehe. "I don't wanna die yet!" lol love that!

Yeah it was that time, when you really liked my flag and my pencilcase, also liked my recliner chair and fell asleep in my bed. You can try kidnap it, you know where I live (sort of) :pac:
