lol, I bought the vegan store ones out of desparation :)
I have found beautiful (and suitable!) heels in New Look, maybe you might be lucky with a pair of boots made with textiles/other materials? I'm sure there might be another useful site. www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk doesn't really have what you are looking for. http://www.bboheme.com/hers-dress-footwear-c-1_41.html is a bit better. Personally, I've found buying shoes online can be a hit-or-miss if they fit you (even though you picked your size).

ooh theres some pretty ones in the second one, thanks a lot! :D

I'm in love with these ones from schuh - it says "fabric - other materials" but they might be leather lined, ill check them out tho :)http://www.schuhstore.co.uk/item_main_frameset.asp?s_ref=146100&fav_colour=1461009970&s_group=0&ref=Add_this

I see you're also in dun laoghaire - hi! *waves* :)

    'lo all. :)

vegan boots are sort of like eco-cars, really... great idea, lots of people who'd be interested... but just... always seem to be designed to be ugly.

spent my day at an anti-vivisection stall at a huge pet expo today. was interesting.

it was at a pet expo, so most peeps were animal lovers to some degree (or just young families...) but we had a few headlines and posters and stuff on our little section board thing, so it was pretty obvious what it was about.... don't think the word 'vivisection' was really up there, except under the name 'NZAVS'.

most people (and i wouldnt be surprised to find there was at least 1000 there today) sorta walked past and glanced at the posters and kinda tutted or sighed, but didnt really stop... some would stop and take pamphlets, while others would engage us in conversation about it, and that. was a pretty good reaction overall.

and thankfully there weren't too many really freaky pictures around the place, the organiser of the anti-viv remembered that it was mostly a family day out thing.

Thats so good to hear, I much prefer the softly softly approach when educating people about delicate issues like these, its not their fault they didnt know about it, no need to send them screaming in the other direction ya know? :)

What an ungodly hour it is!

I can see the rest of the vine is having a nice bank watcha majigger. Apart from electro that is (well maybe you are outside of the internets). My internet isn't even real, so I must sit for days at a time trying to see an e-mail, I know how you feel.

Last night on the beach two of my friends passed out in perfect symmetry!

Any good stories from metallica master?

WooohhooO! Internet from the boat (Belfast to Stranrear). Luxury indeed. And free... Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday weekend :)

    You're face is confusing!

Up the raah? ooh noo, I hope my name doesn't get interpreted in such ways to often.. I'll have to suscribe and change it I will :D

Yes, not ungodly, it's a fine hour really. Earliest I've woken in quite some time. Which are those parts which confused you most? Well, no need to tell me really. I'll be drinking tea soon enough.

:O boat internets! Is it one of those stena line boats? or just a regular one?

    Lol. Up the Raah :P

I had three small measure drinks last night... feel woeful today. :(

    bloody internet mumblegrumblemutterargh

    Try switching to http://www.opendns.com/

It worked for Eircom customers when they were hacked, and for my bro on Perlico, when that started stuffing up recently too.

For all ye others, I'd take down the details and store the relevant ones on your desktop, in case your service gets affected too.

    No internets, the horror!

Good old stena line :) First time on the Stena Voyager. It compares well to the Europe Superferry and Stena Explorer... "Yes Man" has just started on the widescreen :D

Something a bit bigger than a shot I am told. Well when I 'measure' it's ususally one part whiskey one part OJ at minimum.

Funny to see my friends try it and the look of disgust on their faces
