My boat is faster than your boat!!

    Before you read this.. yes, it is a case of boys and their toys!!

    Anyway...

    I would like your suggestions to improve the performance of my Zippa - a small boat with a two-stroke Mercury 50hp on the back of it.

    It achieves 37/38mph according to the GPS.

    A guy I know has the same boat and is using a Stainless Steel prop with a different pitch to my aluminium prop.

    My engine leg is fitted with what appear to be standard hydrofoil fins - his look space-age compared to mine.

    Bottom line: he's achieving 44/45mph and kicked my @ss yesterday evening. :mad:

    How do I beat him?
