I texted him on Friday morning to tell him I was queasy.
I got a call at about 1pm telling me not to worry that he had totally cleaned the kitchen, emptied the bins and cleaned out the fridge so no foody smells would be bothering me.
A total swell of love overcame me.
We're together nearly 10 years and married one, he's been more romantic and thoughtful in that one year than he ever was before, not to say that he wasn't before but it's like he's got complete confidence now. And people say marriage changes nothing.

He makes my teddies dance around to cheer me up (yes i am a huge kid)
He gives me confidence by telling me all the things I can achieve and is always more than willing to hellp me achieve them.
Looks after me...one time i text him from work saying I was defo coming down with the flu and how i didn't have time to get sick. He showed up outside my work at end of day with a bag of cough syrup, strepsils, headache tablets and vitamin c chews (winnie the pooh ones!!!)
He overcame his dislike/embarressment of dancing for me

I'm the one who sits and chats while he showers!
But on topic...
He buys me little pressies and texts me to tell me he has bought me something. It's usually a little cake or iPod cover or something small like that.
He texts randomly with some in-joke or phrase that we use.
He talks proudly to his friends or family about me.
The first time I see him after a day at work he gives me a big hug.
Sometimes when we are vegging or watching tv he'll turn to me out of the blue and say I look so pretty. If I'm trying to look good for a night out I can't get an answer out of him though

He gives me little butterfly kisses along my neck or on my cheek
He strokes my skin(yeah I'm like a cat who wants to be petted a lot of the time).
He lies on my back because it makes me feel safe, and because my back is really sensitive to touch. 0 -

My darling man is such a sweetie, her are just a few of the nice things he does for me....- he leaves me little messages every morning to say that he loves me and really cares about me
- he calls me on his lunch just to say hi and to make sure that I am ok
- he treats my daughter as if she is his own
- he listens to all my worries and fears and always says no matter what happens he will be there for me
- he takes my daughter to play in the park so that I am enjoy a cuppa and a read of the paper
- he tells me he loves me all the time

Such a sweet thread!
To some people it may be silly but he does little things like that like check my teeth when i ask him (I'm super paranoid about getting food stuck in them!), lets me yap on and on an on about irrelevant boring stuff even when he's wrecked and dying to go to sleep, he used to make attempts to make my bed when he stayed over (I'd usually go and make it again as I'm well fussy but it was sweet!) . He puts up with my moans and groans a lot! One eve (and this is real silly but one of those daft moments that made me remember how much i love him) he'd lined his converse up beside mine, after we'd gotten into bed which in my girly head meant he's comfy and sees us together girls...what are we like! 0 -

He insisted on teaching me to swim. I made "good" progress on our first lesson last night.

I have to tell this story. It happened on the 6th of June, which was my mam's 50th birthday. We went out for drinks, but unfortunately, my boyfriend was working and admitted he couldn't make it, but we arranged to meet up the following day. Anyway, in the pub, I was sitting with my back to the door and all I see is my sister smiling, and she said "well hello". I turned around and there was my boyfriend, saturated from the heavy showers that night. I practically jumped into his arms. He went on to buy my mam a drink and wish her happy birthday.
Before we got together, he wrote me a poem to cheer me up.
He gets on with my family and friends.
There's loads more he does, but I just can't think at the moment

If you can't think of anything in particular on the spot, is that a good thing or a bad thing...? My boyfriend's not the most romantic, or spontaneous of lads, but he can be good when he wants to be. I just can't think of anything, cos he's not into big gestures, he does loads of small things that all accumulate and make him just one big ball of cuteness.... 0

My bf leaves the bathroom in an absolute mess, because I love cleaning :rolleyes:
Doesnt do romantic things as such but takes a lot of my anger etc and still is here.. and still tells me everyday how great i am. I also love it when I do random things to him, for eg throw cold water at him while he's in the shower:D, and he drags me, on the floor, to the bed for tickles
He also is so not bothered by other sexy girls its scary doesnt notice them or appear to lust after them.. is just happy with.. me... 0 -
