    I have one exam to repeat from christmas, does compensation still count in the repeat exams...desperate to pass this exam like haha...

    I was told by a few (nobody offical) that it does not count and the highest you can get in a repeat is 40%. Ill try get a more offical word on it.

    Btw - double check your timetable, one of my exams is now later then originally indicated on the website.

    hmmm, if thats true, then thats new on me.

    from what i heard, it was that you were going to be marked entirley on the repeat exam, and that the exam was worth however much it would be overall

    like if the exam was worth 50% and you made up the rest by CA, then you could only get 50%.

    actually i think i know what you mean now. If you repeat any exam, then its marked on your transcript as Pass. You cant get recognition as Merit or Destinction even if your grade goes up to that level.

    Which is what I said :p In the first attempt, you can pull your grade up using CA.

    I actually spoke with the School of Science and I was told that;
    1) If your CA helps you, they will use it to pass you.
    2) Unsure about compensation and repeats.
