Ok folks, this is for the regulars and the lurkers.
It's been established that i'm an old fart, and i never denied. However discussion on OTB has sparked this one up.

So how old are you? Not looking for exact ages, so hence why the poll is up. It'll be interesting to see how long we've been watching it.

Keep it civil guys, this one's for a laugh. :)

21, I've been watching since around 1999 (basically was it was still "cool" to watch wrestling).
Although I have scattered memories of watching Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage matches when I was around 5, so maybe the logical answer is 1992....

Hogan/Savage had their last televised match for the WWE in 1990 on The Main Event in February.

Although Prime Time Wrestling did have a Hogan special on around 1992 the week prior to his match with Sid that showed Hogan/Savage from Mania V, so you may have seen that.

I'm 24, will be 25 in 4 months so I voted in the 24-30 category as opposed to the 18-24 one. Been watching since about 91/92.

I didn't realise there were as many people older than me on here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 976 ✭✭✭overexcitedaj

Im 19 going on 20 . Been watching wrestling on and off since 96. The most i get out of it now is lurking on the wrestling forum keeping updated as ive no regular access to it :P

Stop bitchin' man, at least you have hair!

(fun fact, i actually do have a lot of my hair still, but the massive bald patch at the back and the receeding hairline just makes me look older than 28 (which was when it got to it's worst), so i just keep it shaved all off now. I'm also as grey as a goose at this point. I got lazy and let it grow for a month once.

It was soul destroying to say the least! :o)

Turn 21 this Friday. Been watching wrestling practically all my life (though my memory is hazy for older stuff from my childhood). From about 2000-2005/6 would be when i was most into WWE. Becoming a regular internet user has made me watch the product a bit less, but I always read up on what's going on in Vince's little world, and tend to buy a fair bit of merchandise online.

i'm not that old, still only 32

i was wondering about who that was over 40, on the other wrestling forum i spend my time there is a number over 40, with quite a few in their mid 30s, seems we have a very young group here

I'll try not to take that as an insult as I actually dropped weight in the last year while Heyman has more than likely put it on. ;)

As for the Ponytail, dear christ no. I did have long hair, it was actually down to my arse at one point but that was many years ago. Once i started losing it, it all got shaved off.

Painful as that was to do, it was easier to deal with in the long run than prolonging it later in life. ;)

31 here. Been watching properly since around late 99 / early 2000. But was half watching before that, and as a kid in the 80's.
