Does anyone know a dentist in Cork that is opened Saturdays or late (past 7) weekday evenings?

For someone who has a fear of going to the dentist and can offer a payment plan for the treatment. Thanks.

    Hi everyone,

Have finally worked up the courage to go and get some orthodontic work done. I recently moved to Dublin and am looking for recommendations for a good orthodontist in the Donnybrook/Ballsbridge/General D4 area?

If you can PM me on suggestions it would be much appreciated! :)

You don't need courage to get ortho treatment- just 3-4 grand....;)
    Good luck,

I would recommend <snip>. They do evenings and Saturday mornings by appointment. It's a small single dentist practice.

I hadn't been to a dentist for many years and was obviously nervous but she put me at put me at ease immediately to the point where I even looked forward to my next visit.

Feel free to PM if you want me to give you more details.

    Hi Guys

I had a serious dental phobia for years, and had to have alot of work done on my teeth when I finally went back over 2 years ago. I saw a dentist in Dublin back then, but he's no longer in the country.

Then about 18months ago, I wanted to find someone who could whiten up my root canal treated teeth as well as my other teeth, and I found an excellent dentist in Kildare - I actually have boards to thank for that, he really fixed them up for me.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, he said at the time that I had 2 or 3 small holes that didn't require fillings then but would in the future. Now, I'm heading abroad for a year in a weeks time, and I'm after discovering a crack near the gumline in one of my teeth :/ Serves me right for leaving it this long! I probably need the other small fillings he mentioned done too, but I'm happy to get them when I'm away; for now I just need anything urgent sorted.

The only day I have free to get this sorted is Saturday, so I'm under a bit of pressure and I can't get to Kildare. I rang the previous Dublin dentistry to see if I could make an apt with another dentist there, but they're booked up on Sat.

Can anyone recommend a good dentist in or near enough to Dublin City Centre for me? I'm not as terrified as I once was anymore, thank god, but I'd prefer someone who's used to nervous patients.

    Please pm me any recs.

    Thanks a mil :)

Looking for a good dentist for kids and adults in south Dublin (Rathfarnham, Dundrum, Templeogue, Terenure). I am talking about good as in so good that dentists themselves would go to him/her. Preferably someone that can do orthodontics as well.

    Thanks in advance!

Can anyone recommend (via PM) a good dentist in the south side (preferably Dublin14/16) to get root canal treatment done? There's one clinic in Tallaght that has a big web presence in which I would get a discount with my health insurance. Has anyone got positive or negative things to say about this clinic.
I got a a quote of €755 for a First molar (11). What sort of price would a specialist (Endodontist) charge?

Does anyone know a dentist in ennis/limerick/galway that does difficult wisdom teeth extractions?

I also need lots of other work done but I am terrified of dentists (accident when I was a kid meant lots of painful treatment) so I need someone who will be gentle and won't go on a rant about how irresponsible I have been in not getting regular check ups.

    Ugh,

Just had half a filling come out, thankfully no sensitive part exposed, I need this fixed up and probably due a cleaning anyway, anywhere in S.Dublin that will do good work at a reasonable rate?

On one occasion it's worked out cheaper for me to fly to France and have the work done there, would prefer not to have to travel and get this looked at asap.

    Thanks!

I'm looking for a recommendation in Bray, Greystones or the surrounding area.

I should add that I haven't been anywhere near a dentist in over 30 years (yes, I know!) so want an understanding dentist who isn't going to lecture me, and explains in minute detail what he/she's going to do as I have no idea what 90% of the terms I read in here even mean.

I'm looking for a good, non judgemental dentist either in the city center, D7 or D9.

I haven't been to the dentist in a couple of years . This is partly due to my last dentist being a b%*#h who didn't leave the anasthaetic to set in, while also admonishing me for being a smoker. Also, this past year I've been snowed under with college work so have neglected myself a bit that way.

I have a problem with a back tooth. It's sensitive to the touch and I need to get it seen to asap. I have a medical card but am aware that I may need to pay for some services. I just want to find a good dentist!

    Hi South Dublin Dentist needed

Had a guy who unfortunately passed away 2 years ago and was great and understanding....my teeth not the best

Used to go to him every 6 months for clean up and he was great

Lost crown about a year ago and went to dentist south dublin, not a million miles from Stillorgan/Blackrock/ Dundrum and all he did was lecture

Can anyone recommend local dentist who will fit new crown , clean up and check up in the area
    Thanks

    Hi All

I'm looking for a dentist in Waterford, Kilkenny. I've a great fear of them and haven't been in years. I need a lot of work done but the thoughts of going makes panic and I keep putting it off. I've even chickened out of writing this :(
I'm also looking for someone who's non judgmental and understanding.

Also, can you get dental work done on some kind of payment scheme?

    Thanks in advance
    D
