    Can some one give me a good meaning full description of the below or better still a good link, Ive a good idea myself but would still like more info..


    (Taken from my gun liecence)

    Who is hereby authorised to have in the possession, Use and carry A shotgun (under and over) By_______,Of a double barrel bearing the identification number______. Subject to conditions a below...

    Condition A
    The certificate for so long as its in force, authorises the person to whom it is granted with the firearm to which relates-
    (A)To hunt and kill pursuant to any order under section 24 of the wildlife act, 1976 and 2000 which is for the time being in force any protected wild bird within the meaning of the act.
    (B) To hunt and kill pursuant to and in accordance with any order under section25 of the said act which is so in force any hare.

    That's a bit of a "How long is a piece of string" question though elius - it looks to me like the text from your shotgun licence. I don't understand what exactly you want described, or how to describe it better than the original text.

    In simple terms you may hunt and shoot wildlife namely Pheasant, duck etc only in season and only with the firearm that is listed on your licence (section 24)

    As above hunt and shoot wildlife namely deer, hare etc only in season and again only with the firearn listed on your licence.

    For more detailed explanation go to www.irishstatutebook.ie and look under acts - 1976, 2000 section 24 & 25.
