If you read my posts, you'll see that I've always been civil to you. I just didn't understand some of what you were saying. I said right back at the very beginning that there was no reason why you and dog couldn't have a long and happy life together

Seriously though, I don't hold grudges, and I hope that if you ever do have any difficulties as she gets older, you would get in touch with me for advice or rehoming if it ever came to that. I really, really hope it won't, so maybe instead I'll be seeing you at some of the sled dog events that are now being organised around the country.:D

I think you have an attitude problem.

Wow tv3, you're some piece of work.
I asked you if this was your first dog cos I wanted to ascertain how much experience you have with training etc so that I could suggest a particular 'level' of training tips to you that might have helped.

I read through this thread last night, and my take on it was that what's done is done, it wasn't the cleverest decision to buy a pup (of any breed or crossbreeding) from a petshop, but it can't be undone, so I thought I'd just try to give a bit of advice depending on your experience.

But having read everything that was posted here today, I can see that you're far too defensive for your mind to be open to learning anything or accepting advice. The only conclusion I come to now is that you're 14? possible 15 years old? So maybe when you get bored of your new toy your parents might come on Boards to accept the help you've rejected.

So you are trying to tell me that the 40+ replys are people giving me the proper answers.......,i dont think so either.

Maybe you should take your time reading and you will eventually get it.:D

Yes, the 40+ replies are giving you proper answer's.
Everyone has tried to tell you that a husky or malamute are a very bad dog for someone who is not used to them.

You can't let them off a lead.
They require lots of exercise everyday.
They are destructive if not stimulated.

Everyone's replies are more than polite to you and have given you good advice.
Which you have decided to ignore because it is not what you want to hear.

The fact that you bought this dog on a whim without any prior reading up on them would suggest that this really isn't the dog for you.

Can i ask you one question,What is different with this "specialist dog" and ie a yorkie etc??

I'll repeat what has been said 10 times already by dedicated and knowledgeable dog people. One of them even owns her own rescue ffs!
You don't want to listen. You need a knowledge of dogs, a strong interest in keeping him or her happy and the time to do so. These dogs can be very difficult. They don't come back very readily, in fact they might disappear for a period if you let them off. They're big, strong and destructive. You need patience and a big garden. I could go on. They are not an obedient, timid collie. They are more wild animal than domesticated pet. They're very single minded and disobedient to most people's standards. They need managing.

By your own words he was an impulse buy. It's not a good idea to get such a dog on an impulse buy.

I look forward to a time where I can own such a dog but I'm smart enough to know it won't be in the near future. I certainly wouldn't buy one on impulse. Bring him back or give him to a good home, as has been offered here. Get a small, obedient dog from a rescue that will be, by comparison, hardly noticable.
