Racing Post are now charging from today, I am not willing to pay €12.00 per month so PW-E is dead unless I can find another sourse for the selections.

That's a bit of a bummer. I've noticed though, when you click on tipping and then PW-E, you can see what race the tip is in right? Then if you notice by 1pm the 'most backed' section of marketwatch with the top 10 backed horses will pretty much always have the PW-E tip as the most backed horse in that race.

If enough people pay for the service and back the horse it might not be too hard to figure out which is the tip?

Okay I've been thinking there is a way round this, in the live reporter window the PW selection is always mentioned by the reporter in question, so it'll be a question of clicking around the tracks and as mentioned looking at the Most Backed window.

I suspect the picks are the following (handily the races are mentioned in the tipping header)

    Newmarket 2.35 Misheer 9/2
    Catterick 3.30 Bijou Dan 5/1

    will try to confirm.

They are the two most bet in those races, and the prices are shortening a bit. Hopefully I guessed right.

That's what it looks like to me. I've generally looked at the market watch everyday anyway and unless it's a big event with a lot of known horses the PW-E tip is always the first.

TOM SEGAL (hate it when two are picked form same race!)

    2:35 Newmarket Roman Republic @ 8.5/1
    2:35 Newmarket Emirates Roadshow @ 13/1
    3:10 Newmarket Enroller @ 11/1

    a bit of info

Misheer yesterday was another Royal Ascot prominent racer to win next time out, and it can continue to pay to follow this horse. Emirates Roadshow lasted longer up front than fellow pace-setter Crackdown in the Britannia, and given the latter's fine effort when just touched off in a valuable handicap at Sandown next time, Emirates Roadshow @ 14/1 must be worth considering in the 2.35 at Newmarket today. The step up to 1m2f is not sure to suit, but there is stamina on the damside and his sire is capable of siring staying types, notably Kentucky Derby/Preakness Stakes winner Funny Cide

    I went with Emirates,

    PW-E races appear to be.

    1.30 Newmarket Tactic 5/1
    3.30 Warwick Dantari 6/1

will be in brian boru next week keeping an eye on this thread.
    hugh taylor aggrees with pw

In the Bunbury Cup (2.35), PLUM PUDDING looks overpriced. He has made his name on the Rowley Mile, where he has won six of his 11 starts, but on his sole appearance on the July course he ran a blinder at this meeting three years ago, pulling clear of the far side group when finishing second of 20 behind a well-treated winner. This year, unlike in previous years, he has shown his form at other tracks, despite facing some very stiff tasks. He beta the very smart Dream Eater (only ¾ lengths behind Paco Boy next time) at level weights on his reappearance, then gave best only 100 yards from home in a valuable handicap over 1m 114 yards at Epsom when running off today’s mark (and also carrying 9-10). Last time at Newbury, he had the very smart Gallagher off the bridle a fair way out and that was an excellent effort trying to give 15lb to the Jersey Stakes fourth, a horse with solid Group One form as a 2yo. Ryan Moore, who replaces the suspended Richard Hughes, has five wins and eight seconds from 17 rides on him. All in all, I think Plum Pudding should be single-figure odds.

The top 10 @ Newmarket in the market watch only include 1 from each race. Captain Brilliance is 7/2 favourite and Big Audio is 9/2 second favourite. Probably not PWE tips?

Silenceofthewind was mentioned in the blog too, currently at 10's in the 2pm and shortening. But you're right it's more likely to be Lord Zenith.

Hard to guess today's tips. I might just stay out. With 2 selections from Tom Segal this morning for the 2.35 I don't see much point in trying to figure out a third.

AFAIK Al Khaleej was the 2.35 PW-E tip. Non-runner anyway!

Good job Plum Pudding though! Stayed out in front the whole way.
