Hawks are going to take the abnormal play style monday.

This is going to be pretty awesome, and i think the look will suit both the SWAT team and the terrorists....

I know some people begrudge us for the "gucci thing" ..

But this is going to blow gucci out of the water...this **** might aswell be called versachi :)

Versace. Ffs, between you and Hive...

No quoting designers you don't have anything by, especially if you can't even spell their bloody name.

Was gutted that I couldn't make the game today:(.
However, in my absence it would seem that The Hawks Specialist Detective Unit From LAPD not only managed to win the game but the style award as well - maybe from this point on, Versace is the new Gucci...:p

Men in suits running around a field?

It just gets more and more surreal, I wish I had been there, I'm sure it was hilarious! edit: not that they don't look brilliant, the 'Heat' look is class!

Will there be another game along similar lines in future, was it a good enough game that it would be played again?

Probably the most enjoyable day i've had in airsoft, just the sheer lolz was great.

And we took it pretty seriously considering what we were wearing.

It was a fantastic day thank you to paul as usual, the site is coming on beautifully. Mel and her helper for the burgers. And Ro Ro for creating an astonishingly fun game.

And thanks for everyone who turned up to support milsim...the way airsoft should be.... realism....blokes in suits....epic...

    Tesco Suit - €25
    VFC 416 - €200
Winning all three games dressed like sex - priceless

Well the feedback on the game was great so I think I'll definitely be writing another one soon. I have a few ideas already that I want to check the feasibility on.

Thanks a million to all involved today, including Gerrout who's "contructive redecoration" of the 6 room gave me a dose of the lulz. ;)

Oddly we don't seem out of place.

Great day. Thanks Paul, Mel, Ronan, PK and anybody else that helped out today.

Next milsim could be a miami vice day assuming Tescos start selling sports jackets.

First rotation (I cant remember precisely who was on the team but I know Wolf was leading and Dr.Pepper was on the squad). Thanks to a minor map-reading snafu they were pummelled on their first approach but made a recovery to make some respectable progress.

    Results: All missions failed.
    Total points scored: 4

Second rotation (primarily consisting of the Stray Dogs and Jack I think). A miscalculation in the initial approach cost the team dearly in terms of time and energy forcing them to redelpoy on the opposite side of the field. This was critical in their final score.

    Results: All missions failed.
    Total points scored: -3

Third rotation (consisting almost entirely of the "HEAT" boys). Fast, well co-ordinated aggression converging on a single weak point of the defence allowed them to hammer their way into the central compound. A much longer firefight secured the second compound.

Results: Alpha Complete. Bravo failed. Charlie complete.
    Total points scored: 11.
Time taken: 40 minutes (50 remaining)

Well done to all those involved, this was certainly not an easy game for those in the SWAT position. Multiple objectives, rules of engagement, operating proceedures, TOC updates, arrests, hostages, executions ... loads of stuff going on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,137 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

I think we got so excited that we steamrolled the first compound as quick as we did, I completely forgot about telling the guys to take primary targets alive

    O well :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,258 ✭✭✭Cheeky monkey

Yeah half way through the assault on the second compound I was like "GUYS! Lets get executing people!....... Oh wait we're supposed to arrest them :'("

I think everyone was operating under a zero tolerance policy during the event:D

    Yes you did.

The Missions were to collect 2 bio-weapons and secure 2 terror-cell leaders.

You managed to grab one of each and were awarded points accordingly.
