    What really pi%%ed me off was that immediat;ey after the story broke, Pat had her on the Late Late talking about and I quote "the terrible tragedy that happened". Sorry it is not a tragedy, it is reprehensible behaviour and she stood by the perpetrator.

    My gripe is not with her promoting a book - she may have written a good book. She has written great cookery books and is a very talented woman.

    I am not comfortable with a woman who "stood by her man" telling people how to appreciate their grandchildren on "Grandparent's Day".

    That would be your interpretation of it.

    To me it reads as: "Her opinion is of no value to me. I do not trust the judgement of anyone that stands by somebody convicted for possessing child porn".
