I was messing around with my ipod touch earlier and started thinking about all the cool things we have today and what we'll see in the future. Hovercars? Brain implants? Monkey Butlers? What crazy things do you think will be invented/happen in the world in the next...oh say 30 years.

Your wrong. Brain implants are being used even today.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_pacemaker is a brain implent used to help epilepsy and parkinson's disease.

    There are many more also.

But in the future i can easily see implents being used to increase memory and actually enhance the mind rather than just being strictly medical uses.

    Future relationship aid.

At marriage, every couple implanted with a "keepitinyourpants" micro chip. Cheating will cause your mickey to fall off or if you're the female of the species...damp rot  to set in.

A device that it will be mandatory for everyone to wear which measures how many breaths you take to determine your carbon footprint in relation to breathing and how much carbon tax you have to pay for breathing .

In the future everyone will undoubtedly have microchip brain implants in order to control every thought and desire. These will be inserted on behalf of the reptilian masters of the New World Order by the anti-christ AKA Barrack Obama. I read all about it on the Conspiracy Theories board so it must be true.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,639 ✭✭✭✭OldGoat

Hoovercars...sucking up ciggie butts from the roadside and converting them to finely wraught miniatures of the Eiffel Tower.

    The future...

Bubblegum Crisis, Bladerunner, anything remotely Cyberpunk. Because that's the way things are going....

Darker, with more corporate power and control.

Why not. I think it's inevitable. in fact it seems it's already happening. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_implant.

There is also a hybrid plane/car coming out shortly. Not quite a hovercar but getting there I would say.

Burger King on the Moon, or maybe Mars.

Transporter and Holographic technology is already been undertaken and is in it's infancy, in 30 years time who knows!!!

A rolller coaster in space.....now that would be cool. Obviously we would need to be protected by the environment.
