    Just plain sick and tired of petty inhouse navel gazing, that gets in the way of decent discussion. When there are some many positive things going on in local astronomy. Such as the Galway Astronomy Club's Astrofest, Midlands Astronomy Club's Cosmos Star Party, The Skellig Star Party, The Burren Star Party, the Dublin Sidewalk Astronomer events, the Mayo Dark Sky Festival. I am sure I have left some events out of this hastly drawn together list.

    This forum should be used to promote these and other similar events. Not a reharsh of old in house politics that happened in the dim and distant past. Which the vast majority of us were not involved in, know nothing about and care even less for.
