Can someone answer this question thats been boggling me for years

Has anyone ever been to butlins and the call in the swimming pool
'can all the blue bands leave the pool, can all the blue bands leave the pool Thank You' and on they call every now and then with a new colour they've just picked randomly

My question is What happens if you dont leave the pool?

Do you get shot down mid breast stroke?

    WTF?

This sounds very much like a made up story tbh.

Did the yellow bands have to piss in the pool before they left?

They didn't have coloured bands in the Swimming Pool in Butlins/Mosney, no they were all strictly Caucasian! Ka Bumtish!

Seriously though, they only had the band system in local swimming pools.

That's no joke. Have you ever had to walk back to your apartment wearing a couch? I did once and I was sweating buckets after just 10minutes.

Last time I was in Butlins I was too drunk to go near the pool. I did see J Mascis and Lou Barlow from Dinosaur Jr in a shop buying yoghurt though.

    Hope that helped.

Ted Bovis shows no mercy, uses no lube and screams "Hi De Hi, Campers!" with each thrust as you choke on your own tears.

    Soon. Be patient.

    Economic crisis - check.
    Political unrest - check.
Convenient scapegoat group - TBA. There wouldn't be enough bankers and builders for a decent pogrom and campaign of hate, so it may well be the furrners since this is AH.

My money's on Declan Ganley to lead the way. I aim to be either a careerist collaborator or a wartime profiteer.

Correct. Butlins/Mosney never had armbands as such to distinguish swimmers.
There was armbands for locker keys.
Once you put your clothes in a locker and locked it, you had the ability with a attached thick rubber band to your key, to keep it on your arm or leg.

Maybe this is what your thinking of in relation to Mosney?
