Hi,

After many years of hard work on my part! I have managed to convince my wife that learning to drive would be a good thing! She has passed her theory test a few months back now, and I am looking for a good, friendly and supportive driving instructor in the Ballybofey area.

If anyone has any experience on whom they could recommend? your help would be very much appreciated.

I don't know who does the instruction in Ballybofey, but it may be worth considering taking lessons in Letterkenny, as that is where the final test will be (or in Donegal Town/Buncrana). Esp in the case of LK, the test centre is based on Pearse road and you have to do a lot of lane changes going to and from the test site - not to mention the roundabouts and the sneaky 60 zone.

Hi Guys,

Im in the same boat as the guy above. My wife just got her learner permit (she didnt want to drive for years and eventually saw the advantages).

Anyway Im looking for a friendly, patient, reliable and honest driving instructor in the Dublin 12 area who offers late evening and weekend appointments at reasonable rates.

I want to buy her the 12 EDT lessons as a Xmas present.

Is the instructor car included in the lesson price? I think it would be mad to use our own car without experience and most importantly without dual foot controls...

Will be doing my test in the Churchtown area, and looking for a patient, friendly, not-too-strange driving instructor that somebody could recommend. I have had my provisional for a long, long time, have recently had 12 lessons in a different area, so looking for someone who can come and collect from Rathfarnham (near the castle).

Looking for a driving instructor in the Dublin 8 area for the 12 EDT lessons. Want to do them as quickly as possible to hopefully get the test done before the summer is over. Have certain flexibility in the morning and luchtime hours. Have had a driving license for 11 years elsewhere and have rented cars in Ireland multiple times -- need only instructions on how to pass the test really.

Needless to say that price is a major factor here.

I welcome and thank any recommendation.

Looking for a good pre-test instructor in Cork (wilton test) area. I'm on 4th test, 2 out of the last three were for being too cautious, so I really just want someone who will pull me up on everything I could be caught on. I've already had 16 lessons, and practice inbetween with two different instructors.
