Took the garmin with me today but only really paid attention to the time....aim was 25mins running and easy pace. Went a wee bit over that but felt strong. Did just over 4km and it was slow enough really but not too bothered because A I really enjoyed it and B the wind was horrific on parts of the beach, not to mention the uneven terrain underfoot (sand, sandy soil, sandysoil covered in funny grass stuff that stinks your legs, stones, and whatever the prom in tramore is made of). The waves were amazing, crashing over the prom - had a layer of salt on my face when I was done and it wasn't from sweating, cause the car had it too! :D

quick (for me) 20min run this morning, had wanted to go for a little longer but was really stuck for time so decided to go faster instead. Did just over 3km in just under 20mins.

Pilates class last night, was good, quite enjoyed it.

Set out for 30min run today - felt good. Did just under 5km in 31mins....

know I sound like one of those horrid gushy inspirational things you read but felt really really really good. I hurt my back a few years ago and could barely walk with the pain so if someone had told me then that I would be able to 'pop' out for a 5km run at lunchtime and feel good doing it, I wouldn't have believed it!! Just feels sooo good to move and stuff....anyway this is what I was thinking today...okay gushy rant over!! Clearly over-dosing on endorphins!!
