    If I have to do something with twitter for a client I will, but +1 to TheBaz, I won't even turn on the mobile until I'm ready to deal with it since I resist the distraction of general chat on demand, it's an issue of space and pace for me.

    I'd be interested in peoples experiences with it here all the same, does the benefit of tweet content within a group sharing a specific interest outweigh the cost of distraction?

    Scobleizer comes up with some interesting stuff. Twitter can be useful but there are a few addicts there.

    Anyone know if its possible to forward tweets from people I follow to my Gmail either as it happens or as a digest? Would be great for viewing photo links etc. Thanks.

    Looks like this may suit the emailing stuff http://tweetbeep.com/ - I'm not actively using it but there are many filters available in there.

    you can use reader.google.com to aggregate them, works if twitter is blocked in work
