The MG alloys must be worth a fortune these days. I initially thought this was a typo, but the same price is in a description. You can't make a mistake like that twice in one ad, can you?

I wouldn't even pay 1400 for this junk, even the MG alloy picture doesn't match the main picture:confused:

It's been changed to €1,400 since.

That Landcruiser owner is a dreamer of the highest order though!

Ah bums, I have it in the wrong thread.... Was meant to be in the buying sub forum! :o

Normally when I have a post for here, I usually include the price in the title :p

May leave it here anyway, something to add to my dunces cap :pac:

€90k for a '96 Ferrari 355!? An acquaintance bought an immaculate 360 with similar mileage for €65k last year..your man in Cafco needs his bloody head examined.

I couldn't ever spend money on an F355 because some people would think it was an MR2 :/

Price it too high, no-one will ever buy it, so you get to drive it home everyday as your company car.

Though as noted above - everyone will think its an MR2 :D

I have no idea what the going rate for an '03 Renault Avantime is, but you wouldn't catch me paying €4500 for one (even if it does have 'ALCANTARA CD PLAYER… AUTOMATIC SPRAY WASH ALARMS… AND LOTS OF MORE' :pac:).

Such a cool car though..

I wouldnt say he's a million miles away on price, probably worth every penny of €3500 to the right guy..

I agree with this. Its not for everyone, but to some its a very cool car. And extremely rare. So i think he's pretty close with his price.

In what way are they are cool car? Are they quick or something? Its a hideously ugly monstrosity of a yolk to look at...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

They're different, quirky. They are quick too.

Like i said, not for everyone, but i think they're cool.

A very rare car; every chance that it will be a future classic of it's type.

I love it!! Not sure how the mechanics would be though!

Possible future classic if it would have been the 3.0l V6.
The poverty spec version of a car will never be as attractive as the real deal.

For some reason I can easily imagine the F355 being worth more than a 360. Never liked the 360, it always seemed liked the Focus of Ferraris.

Possibly in a few years due to lower production numbers and classic design. They're not worth more in the current climate though. The reg number isn't visible in the ad but I'd be willing to bet that the same F355 has been advertised for sale in the last 18 months for €50-60k.

Looks nice in fairness but is he for real?

€3500 for a 13 year old Golf is almost comical.

I know a guy with 2 of them They're fantastic cars and great to drive. Thaat one isn't worth 4.5k but a V6 is.

I agree; two years ago I sold a mint 2002 Mark II GTi (not an anni) with full leather, electric sunroof, fsh etc for under €3k. It also had lower mileage. I was happy to get it.

Seems expensive for a 1.8 GSR. I never seen anybody ask for that high a price, recently anyway.
