some great stuff on previous pages -- wonderful -- made me look out my window here in Dublin 1 -- snow ?-- not here!! spots here and there nothing like those people living in white landscapes :-(

the instant reportage is great so glad I wasn't on the N7 tonight! --

seeing loads of pics same day almost made me want a digital camera to join in. ....

Especially love the snow on the brown fence pic by Valentia and Animal Rights Kids in the Park

So, assuming that the snow is still there tomorrow morning, what locations are people going to hit? Sun-up is at 8.10am, should be some good pics to be had.

Don't know what happened with the top left corner of 3.

I found out how hard it is to expose properly for snow especially with orange(sodium) street lights and car lights.

I should of tried this earlier in the day.:o

This from Corcaig Park late tonight - pity about the noise but my D40 doesn't handle the high ISO's (800 i think) as well as i'd like.

You can't have snow with snow angels!

Anyone else notice how bright it is outdoors this evening with the snow on the ground. The moon is overcast, is it just the streetlights reflecting off the snow?

I only got a couple of minutes to take some photos but none of them came out well. If I find any nice snow tomorrow I'll try again.

Quick request: Could ye please please PLEASE, put in a location for where those photos were taken? The majority have no information about them, save that it snowed and it was pretty:pac:.

It saddens me to think of what it's like back home for me, while I'm stuck with wet snow and slush in Rathmines:(

Much of that snow which hit Trim and Navan earlier today had passed over where I live, typically enough.

Yesterday I arranged to get into Kilmainham Gaol first thing this morning. Was hoping to get shots of the Gaol with the snow.

Rang the bell at 8.30 this morning but it was too late. All the snow had melted. :(

I know Met Éireann are rubbish at predicting Good Weather, as they don't have the experience, but you would think they would have Crap Weather down to fine art.

Plenty of snow over here still, weather forecast is for more. Loads of kids round my flat who had obviously never thrown a snowball (their technique for construction and throw was awful not one of them hit me, useless). I worked from home and got a few when I went for a wander:
