    3 hours from Tallaght to Naas after 5 today, lorries all over the place at Poitin Stil, just cant get up that little hill. Hope they got out of there now. After poitin stil road empty

    Took me 2 hours to get from navan to dublin, very bad on the ashbourne bypass, very few cars on the road but lots left at the side of roads and what looks like cars that have hit the central wall with no front left!!!

    Left work in Dun Laoighaaire at 5:40, was at the jobstown inn at 8:20 to travel down the n81. Just got home.

    Heavy snow falling on slush on the N80 between Carlow and Bunclody. Roads not good at all.

    Dublin Airport runway closed for clearing after snow.

    Runway due to re-open at around 4pm.

    From RTE:

    All Aer Lingus flights due to depart before 5pm have been cancelled, with the exception of EI 109 from Dublin to New York - scheduled to depart at 4pm.


    EDIT - airport now closed till 6pm. They are diverting some planes that were holding over the airport onto SNN.
